if you record directly to the SD card in the camera, can you then do time/date/event based searches on the stored footage? Or does it have to go to an NVR?
we tried to duplicate this for a retail chain in the UK, we wanted to record to SD and remotely manage the video. We tried it using the Eyesoft software and the BCM model, and it doesn't do what you want it to. The only way is to record to a PC with eyesoft installed and then you do forensic searching for specific events etc from that PC. no cam can do this ... yet! the browser option just lists the events y date, but you cant search.
