Senator Rubio would absolutely destroy President Obama in a one-on-one debate. Awaken President Obama at three in the morning, ask him anything, and he'll be looking for the teleprompter.
I'm not sure what she's talking about. Rubio earned his way to the senate. His parents worked through crapy jobs to earn their way and gave him a better life, it was up to him to take advantage of the opportunity he had. He went for it and he is where he is precisely because of it.
typical liberal mindset. she thinks the government gave Marco Rubio everything he has today. i think Marco Rubio gave himself everything he has today. so if immigrants want to achieve what he has, they need to work just as hard. not shove some ugly ass latina on tv to demand the government give it to them
@latinasdoitbetter1 It has nothing to do with the govt. giving Marco Rubio everything, conservatard. It has to do with OPPORTUNITY. As a Cuban-American from Miami I have to say that this wonderful young woman couldn't be more on point and more correct in her statements about Marco Rubio. It is preposterous to have a Hispanic elected official from Miami that actually went along with all the teabagging racist, ignorant bullshit served by the right wing this time around. I will do everything in my power to spread the truth about Rubio, his teabagging pals and the lunatics in the right wing who want to bring America down.

@Nopalesasados Stop making illegal immigration sound like the cause of all America’s problems, it's not. Far From it. What it does propose is a monumental taxpayer cost that "illegal immigrants" love to blow off as inhumane or unfair. Tell me specifically how more of our family's income which will need to go to the absorption of law breakers should be conducted with open arms? And don't make the mistake that the companies that use your labor are sanctioned by working America. So?
too bad he is next president and will kill amnesty. there are lots of Hispanic conservatives. the media knows that the democrats have a monopoly on the black vote but not Hispanics. this is why they are so terrified.
@GrandArchitect3D Hispanics are not as statistically single minded as blacks when it comes to party, but they are still strongly Dem. The Pew did the research and it shows that Hispanics identify them self as dem/rep at around 50-55%/25-30%. Dems do clearly want the Hispanic vote, as do republicans, but it really should be the group the Dems should have long term focus on.
that is true but Hispanics and especially Mexicans have a conservative culture based on their faith and family. these numbers can shift very quickly once it is articulated well enough for them to understand that the democrat party is diametrically opposed to their cultural goals of family and faith. you see a Mexican family eating dinner together and saying grace like white people used to do. i feel like the Mexican community is the only hope for the family unit. too late for blacks.
@GrandArchitect3D Yes, the conservative religious speech does resonate with Hispanics. The problem is that all it is, is speech. The government should never support or oppose religion, and most the pro or anti religion happen in court as it is a question of the 1st amendment. The government can not government the family unit or family values. Values and morals come from the family, not the government. I have always found it fun that conservative want less government, except family religion & sex
Conservative seem to think is it no the government place to tell a company how much they can pollute are waters, land and air, but they should be telling people what religion to believe in, how to raise their family and who to have have sex with and when, where and how do have it. The reason they are wrong is simple, a company pollute hurts the all the people, but it I want to be a gay atheistic who raises an adopted child, I hurt no one.
My family immigrated from Mexico - and there is a difference. Rubio and others who came here legally did climb the ladder - we filled out the paperwork and did the work to do it the right way. The people this woman talks about have no intention of 'climbing the ladder'. They intend to break in through the back window without any respect for the law.
Knock on my door and I'll invite you in for dinner, come in my back window and you'll meet the barrel of my gun.
This woman is an idiot. If she did listen to Rubio's speech she would have heard him say "if you work hard and play by the rules". Play by the rules not break them.
As a Cuban American, I cannot believe this woman is saying this! Marco's story is my story. My parents came to this country with nothing, just the clothes on their backs. My father and mother worked hard to give us a good life in our new country, and without any government aid, my brother and I are both successful upstanding citizens of this great country. Marco's story is uplifting and should be prerequisite listening to all new immigrants to this country. Shame on you Alicia!
@havanamama59 the only difference between you and other immigrants is that you got protective asylum from the US. Your story is no different than the story's of illegals coming to the US.
Oh hold on! Wait a second! Lets not complain about Cuba because they obviously have done everything great but America needs to be the savior since they are terrible Nazis. Its interesting how things work in the brain of a Leftist.
Communist/Progressive Castro "redistributed" Cuba's wealth for the "good of the people". America extended an opportunity for Cubans to come here legally and start a new life. CUBANS KNOW FIRST HAND THE GREATNESS OF AMERICA. We don't play their disgusting race games and it eats the democrap bastards up. Cubans are law abiding, AMERICANS FIRST. Alicia Menendez, you only speak for divisive, Democrats looking for handouts! Apologize to Marco Rubio! He has accomplished more than you ever will.
So, this silver spoon woman wants to tell Rubio that he's bad for the Latino community? Really? She doesn't have a clue. More race baiting hypocrisy from the left who think that minorities aren't worth anything unless they toe the victim mentality line and stand in line for handouts. When are minorities going to wake up to the fact that liberals are WRONG - personal power and success don't come from the government!!!
nobody gives a shit what this cum dumpster says. they just found some tanned bitch on the street corner to call herself cuban cos she has black hair and dark skin. she's like al pacino - "i'm not cuban but i played one on tv." dumb bitch
What an airhead. Her family is pre-exile. What has Rubio taken from anyone? "Great Latino Hope"? Only from the left who is so fixated on race and oblivious to the fact.
What a hypocrite, this woman's father was not even born in Cuba, she's like partially third generation Cuban and definitevely does NOT have any exile experience!! It would be like Cameron Diaz saying the same things. Got the commentator job from daddy pulling strings, hasn't the faintest idea what it is to work for something. Of course she doesn't like Marco, she makes her money by milking victimization - typical....
Alicia, you are the only disgusting thing around here. Cuban-Americans have no desire or inclinations to be lumped into the idiocy of the monolithic "Lateenoe" experience. You perpetuate all the bad stereotypes of the LaRaza moochers. In fact, why don't you move to California and join the Mexicans.Leave Marco Rubio alone, he has never needed to be a victim, and his followers of many thousands in Florida don't either. So thanks, but no thanks.
@Billshut100 In a way, illegal immigrants are exiles. They are running away from their poorly ran country the way many Cubans do. Cubans should be thankful and instead talking shit and calling illegal immigrants "border jumpers", they should oust Castro and Co.
@Billshut100 - So you and yours were a part of the Cuban elite that had enough money and means to apply for political "exile" status by greasing the palms of the right people. Give me a break, in Cuba most of you weren't the extremely poor otherwise you'd still be there.
I find it insulting this woman thinks that all hispanics must think alot. That a hispanic can not be against illegals. Maybe hispanics came here legally and feel why cant everyone else? I am disgusted that she thinks hispanics can not think for themselves.
Is this bitch smoking crack? Rubio wants everyone to have access to the American Dream - legally and through hard work - not some free pass. And what's with Will Smith's inane statement on the clip on the end? "Barack Obama as an idea?" Please... Hey Will... how about "Barack Obama as an unmitigated failure?"
The fact that she uses the term "Latino" is an indication she practices stereotyping. Say "Latino" to a Cuban-American and chances are they'll verbally blast you for it.
Alicia, you are an idiot of your leftist/liberal ideology.
More ARROGANCE from the left. She obviously represents the entire Latino community, all struggling families, and is so political slick on how he should legislate.
Gotta love Leftists like Alicia Menendez - bigoted & closed-minded to the core, with the underlying narrative, "You can only think the way I do or else you're stupid and/or evil." When will this nonsense stop coming out of the mouths of "progressives"? Note: The "P" word is in quotes to show my mockery of the term!!
@sdfkjllshadflhadfshl Nothing, she's babbling, it's pretty much what every MSNBC pundit is doing, except for Schultz and Olbermann who are the usual assholes.
i completely agree with her!!!!! no offense but many cubans forget that they were immigrants at one point...

What an airhead. Her family is pre-exile. What has Rubio taken from anyone? "Great Latino Hope"? Only from the left who is so fixated on race and oblivious to the fact.

bad sterotypes??
Dude is good looking, has a smokin hot wife, is successful and has money....and not has status and prestige as a senator.

Baibaren05 1 year ago 3
Alicia, you are the only disgusting thing around here. Cuban-Americans have no desire or inclinations to be lumped into the idiocy of the monolithic "Lateenoe" experience. You perpetuate all the bad stereotypes of the LaRaza moochers. In fact, why don't you move to California and join the Mexicans.Leave Marco Rubio alone, he has never needed to be a victim, and his followers of many thousands in Florida don't either. So thanks, but no thanks.
Baibaren05 1 year ago 4
Sore looser ...your Father Senator Menendez is proud of Marco Rubio even though the have different philosophical view of the world...ask him..
So you thought all Hispanics settle for the crumbs the socialist hand out...
again Sore Looser
Felicidades Senador Rubio!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The exit poll show that hispanics voted for Rubio by almost 70 percent
We know what his positions are and we agree. He doesn't have to change anything

This far left tool confuses the Cuban American experience.
They are poltical exiles, not illegal immigrants.
They came here legally by applyin for exile status....unlike border jumpers, which we Cuban American are not.
She sickens me.
Billshut100 1 year ago 19
@Billshut100 In a way, illegal immigrants are exiles. They are running away from their poorly ran country the way many Cubans do. Cubans should be thankful and instead talking shit and calling illegal immigrants "border jumpers", they should oust Castro and Co.
PeruchoX 1 year ago
@Billshut100 - So you and yours were a part of the Cuban elite that had enough money and means to apply for political "exile" status by greasing the palms of the right people. Give me a break, in Cuba most of you weren't the extremely poor otherwise you'd still be there.

I find it insulting this woman thinks that all hispanics must think alot. That a hispanic can not be against illegals. Maybe hispanics came here legally and feel why cant everyone else? I am disgusted that she thinks hispanics can not think for themselves.

@Flamesdupont
I totally agree. I dint come here for a handout. I came here for the opportunity - just like Italians, Spanish, Irish.
This dumb bimbo thinks that it is up to Rubio to help her out simply because she's Latina.
Get off your lazy brown butt and get to work, bitch.

Is this bitch smoking crack? Rubio wants everyone to have access to the American Dream - legally and through hard work - not some free pass. And what's with Will Smith's inane statement on the clip on the end? "Barack Obama as an idea?" Please... Hey Will... how about "Barack Obama as an unmitigated failure?"
choirboy59 1 year ago 5
0:23 she wants all other immigrants to have the same access to communism

racism and intolerance is ALWAYS okay when it comes form the left. imagine if a conservative said that against a dem?!
kasyapa 1 year ago 4
The fact that she uses the term "Latino" is an indication she practices stereotyping. Say "Latino" to a Cuban-American and chances are they'll verbally blast you for it.
Alicia, you are an idiot of your leftist/liberal ideology.

Fucking morons
CourtneysAuntSara 1 year ago 2
More ARROGANCE from the left. She obviously represents the entire Latino community, all struggling families, and is so political slick on how he should legislate.
Where do they get all the arrogance from?
dijhili 1 year ago 3
Gotta love Leftists like Alicia Menendez - bigoted & closed-minded to the core, with the underlying narrative, "You can only think the way I do or else you're stupid and/or evil." When will this nonsense stop coming out of the mouths of "progressives"? Note: The "P" word is in quotes to show my mockery of the term!!

Sorry hon, it's you that is perpetuating the bad stereotype. Typical liberal mainstream media "journOlist".
Apparently these people have still not heard us. We did not say no.
We said HELL NO! No More, No How, No Way!!
Oh, and we couldn't care less what the liberal media has to say - they just don't matter anymore.
