Will someone please find and publish the phone number of the police agency involved in this harassment, hopefully to include fax numbers, so that their police state tactics on behalf of Scientology can be protested. Is this De Kalb County Sheriff's Department, Atlanta City Police, or another agency?
Those who were pulled over need to PAY the ticket, however go to the court date. You need to ask the judge for all information regarding the law making it illegal to honk in support as you drove by. You need to attack this law head on as it is WAY unconstitutional. However you need to attack the law in such a fashion that it can not be seen as "getting out of a ticket".
The other option is "I honked at some guy that was running toward the street." Let that be your story and stick to it.
It's time for someone to notify the media. Dekalb PD already has a bad rap with the press, and I am sure they would jump on this story. I have never seen someone get a citation for honking a horn in support of a protest. The media will eat this up!

My only thought is (and backed up by another vid mentioning a "medical center") would be that the protest is in a hospital (quiet) zone. That explains why the pair with the megaphone and the honking cars were targeted. That said, however, one of the cops should have explained that to the protesters.

Those who were pulled over need to PAY the ticket, however go to the court date. You need to ask the judge for all information regarding the law making it illegal to honk in support as you drove by. You need to attack this law head on as it is WAY unconstitutional. However you need to attack the law in such a fashion that it can not be seen as "getting out of a ticket".
The other option is "I honked at some guy that was running toward the street." Let that be your story and stick to it.
