If you take the time to view this from start to finish, you will see that the folks in the big chairs have more brains in there little finger, then the pea brains that made some of the comment above. The iPad will indeed be the product of the year! If you can't see that, then you're going to have trouble adjusting to life in the years to come. Whatching tv shows, movies etc is likely to be not ideal at all.

With laptop, you simply move to comfortable viewing distance (adjusting screen angle) and sit back and enjoy.

With tablet, unless it's shipped with accessary to stand it up, you'll end up propping it up with whatever is handy, such as book, and getting perfect angle could be tricky with danger of it slipping.

Also, having to first wipe screen before every movie (to remove finger prints just deposited), must be a real pain.

i look forward to it alot. what i think is very interesting is that this is not an ipod and its not a laptop. i wouldnt take a laptop around with me on a train or if im waiting in the doctors or something, simply because laptops at the prices of the ipad simply dont have the battery life and dont have this ease of use that the ipad has. its more powerful than an ipod and will do alot more. i would rather take this on holiday with me than an ipod due to its larger screen and built in 3g
