I never understood the decades of discussion at all, because the blackfaces in the video had nothing to do with racism in the furthest as far as Taco was concerned. Actually it was just a spontaneous idea on the set at that time, a hommage to the singer and entertainer Al Jolson, whom he greatly admired and who was also known as a famous "Blackface actor" of the 1920s!
