Ok, saw the alt at the end. Start 6200 ft, End 3400 ft (guess), Loss 2800 ft in 30 seconds is about 5600 ft/min or 60 mph towards the hard stuff. Wow :S
The recovery takes a little longer (about 2 rotations), but the Extra 200 recovers nicely. After entering a normal spin, I just add right aileron to accelerate the spin and then apply full power to bring the nose up. It's an exciting spin!
Is this one difficult to recover? I've been told that the ailerons may lock. Do you need aileron in the turn as well and how to you manage the power or is that not important?

isnt it nose down throttle up? then when you regain speed you straighten out right?
