Preemo is a don producer, with his chill laid back euphoric style it is nearly untouchable. Pete Rock has a harder crisper style but still with his own way of making his production relaxed. I like more aggressive music so I have to Roll with P Rock, but, to a different brand of listener I could see Preemo taking the cake. On the real, you cant compare the two.

See, that is what I love about Preemo, hes pretty much mainstream but still has that style which makes him his own. Pete Rock is probably not as known by mainstream audiences, but I love that also cause it allows P Rock to do his own thing.

Jesus Christ....it's too hard for me to decide to be honest, because they're equal in status and skill. Both well respected and legendary DJ's and producers. I study both cats for my music production religiously. If you're talking about raw beats that you can freestyle and murder someone on, Premier hands down. If you're talking bout laid back jazzy feel that you can groove to and flow like an intellect, Pete Rock has it, period. Good battle choices though.
