Mainly a Fender Strat, yes... but not only a Strat and not only Fender.

Wow, this is great! I thought this was the first time I'd ever heard NFA played on a Ric, but then I remembered seeing Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers' version of the song. I like the sound you get...between the guitar and your vocal, it's so full.
