I made a program called Blockify to automatically mute the adverts on Spotify, it works by detecting the title of the window, and automatically muting Spotify until the advert is over.
It is easy to use, with no installation or setup needed.

Which Spotify client version are you running? Mine is 0.4.8.242.g653afe9d and AdFree Spotify is working flawlessly.

Confirmed. The most recent Spotify update removed the mute feature from the client. AdFree Spotify has been updated to v1.4 which takes this into account using a simple volume decrease/increase method. To reliably revert back to the original volume level after an advert users are encouraged to set their Spotify client volume slider past the halfway point, i.e., at least half the max volume.

Thanks for the report. Our old web domain files were restored from a backup copy after the server was attacked. AdFree Spotify files have been now re-updated to the latest version.

Updated to v1.3 which includes a tray menu item to have LioneZZ Adfree Spotify run hidden at startup. A minor thing per se but useful once you've configured program settings once and for all.
