@JustinDarkLord It isn't found in the Lhusu Mines; only Fomalhaut is found there. Zodiac Escutcheon is found in the Barheim Passage and the Great Crystal only.

i obtain the excalibur for the first time i try to get it in the great crystal...but,for this formakhaut and zodiac sheild..it took me one day and STILL i cannot get both..and sometimes,the fucking chest didn't spawns even i have move 3 screens away...i need your tips&advices for this...=)

For the Zodiac Escutcheon , you must have a Diamond Armlet equipped to your party leader.

For the Fomalhaut, make sure you don't have a Diamond Armlet equipped.

That's it.

i know that i may sound strange, but to me, best shield is demon shield cuz it can absorb arcane attacks

i know that black mask does the trick 2, but demon shield is good for characters that wear heavy armor

Best shield is the Ensanguined Sheild (but it gives you multiple status ailments) so the 2nd best is Zodiac Escutcheon.

Best armour is Grand Armour!

I thought your supposed to get the fomalhaut during the Antlion hunt. Which is what I'm trying this very second, but every time I go there, the chest isn't even there. Any idea what's up?

AHHHHHHH!!!!!!! I FEEL LIKE BREAKING SOMETHING. I tried to get this at the crystal but the game designers need to be fired for this kind of torture!! lol first i go from the crystal in front of ultima all the way to the taurus unlock but if you notice you can't get past capricon 1 or 2 to get to the taurus!!! i tried going from ultima crystal to capricorn unlocking that first then to taurus but when i got to capricorn it was locked!! so you can't unlock 1 without locking the other !! Help!!

I would recommend trying to get it here.

At the crystal there is a higher chance of getting right away, but it's a lot more difficult.

Here, at least it's easy. (Even if it takes more time.)

shit...i found zodiac escutcheon in only 10 minutes but the fomalhaut is fucked!!!i spent 3 hours only to collect knot of rust!!!!did i do sth wrong?i ve diamond armlet and everything.... plzzzzz help....

Make sure you don't have diamond armlet equipped when trying to get Fomalhaut (you won't be able to get Fomalhaut with it equipped). You only need it for Zodiac Escutcheon.

Also, if you keep getting knots of rust, try pressing start and returning to the menu screen and loading your game file again!!

Fomalhaut can take a long time to get from any destination because of the low percentile that it will be in any of the chests!
