The class is great and if you have been to the store a carseat tech does the class for the carseats and the strollers. He is great.

I hope you get a carseat tech to come in and speak at your carseat class... if you don't, you could... and even make it a separate class, for actual installation and use...
and techs actually recommend rearfacing to the max allowed.
and newborns do not fit most convertible seats well, because the bottom slots are often too high.
A tech could also cover things like no aftermarket products.
