WOW I do believe that I have found my fantasy girl, yes I have a huge women with hair roller/curlers thing going on, none of my last few girlfriends wear them for me and when I asked them to do so a couple of girlfriends just thought that the request was weird and they had a good laugh about it, so I found you on youtube. @LorenaDiPasquale I did too, I was SO surprised at its volume. I keep experimenting with new results. There are so many factors; the product used, the length of hair, how dry it is, the kind of rollers, the size, the angle. Do YOU try yourself??? I'd love to see a video response of yours!

Hi again. I just set my hair and then decided to look around your site. I was so surprised to see I'd set my hair just like you did in this video! Hope mine turns out as great as yours did. Turned out great. Went to dinner with some friends and they loved it too. I wish my hair would keep it's curl overnight. A 53 the gray is coming in, giving it a new texture, but I'm keeping it at bay with blond hair color :-). It's so funny how curlers have added a kick to my life. Sounds silly, but walking around the house in my vintage black full slip, makeup and curlers - well, it's a little treat every day. Thanks Dianne for giving me the gift of curlers! Merry Christmas.

Thanks for your comments, I haven't used heated rollers in decades. I leave my rollers in as long as possible, usually one to two hours.

Hi there! Keep your questions coming, I welcome them. Thanks for your comments, too. Leave the curlers in as long as you can. I usually can't leave mine in longer than an hour because I have to go somewhere, but I got a little soft bonnet dryer that I "speed set" them in about 20 minutes when I'm rushing. If I'm not rushed, I'd say a couple hours should do it, if your hair is dry and you mist it a little and let it dry. Like I said, experiment!

About a month ago, i bought 20 rollers for £2.99 thats a really good deal! And then i used them and the curl didn't turn out right i'm so glad i found this video I'm gonna try it right away ! The only thing is, when i take the roller out of my hair its REALLY painful! You make it look pain-free! Anyway thanks for the video!

Thanks! Make sure your hair is dry before you roll and secure the curler away from the other hair to prevent it from sticking to the other hair surrounding. I've had my share of knotted hair!

Thank you, JessTheGiraffe, this is one of my favorite results with velcro rollers. I'm excited you got some of your own. Make a video response of your result! Do NOT have damp hair with velcro rollers, they will get stuck, no no no no! You can spritz them once they are rolled and maybe a tad before, but velcro are designed for dry hair. Leave them in as long as you can and use a little spray so it can hold the result for longer. I love having soft, touchable hair, but hairspray has its place!

You should try curling with a straightening iron. One of my favourite methods.

I could never really get the hang of curlers, but i guess it is all in the positioning.

Thanks for your questions. I have a few different sizes in my hair, the side curlers are about 4 inches long and 1 1/4 diameter. I think you could sleep in them if you cover it with a scarf, but they might stick, which I don't recommend. I'm thinking old-fashioned sponge rollers would be ok to sleep in without feeling like you're sleeping on a tumbleweed. Hahah.

Wow, thank you! You are so lovely with me sparkleof innocence. I keep my curlers in for about 40 minutes usually. Today, I left them in for about two hours. It did make a difference.
