That's sad. MM and H!P depend so much on voice overs to make up for sucky live singers. Mari only sung her recording's backup. Risako is the only one of the kids (that are really 13-15, not 19 like Mari) that sang without backup, and she has a REALLY wispy voice. I don't like lives that have voice-overs, because it doesn't seem like the artist tries hard enough.

They were a lot younger when this was recorded. Risako is 13 now, this is before Berryz was formed, so she was only 9 or 10 at the time. Add the other ages up, and most of the girls were 10 to 13. They don't lip-synch much in concerts anymore. You also have to take into account the dancing they do.

I'm not really going to get into this area, but I will say this. Smaller outfits have their use on stage. It's very hot up on the stage with all of the lights. Add in the fact that they're dancing and singing up there, and you realize that even with the outfits they're still sweating. If they were dressed in more they would probably be at risk for heat exhaustion.
