How to use Color Correctors

I have vitiligo & use colortration to cover the white spots on my face. Now when I'm done putting on colortration I have an orange tint to it. Would the green color corrector help with this problem?

Some people don't get it, but let me tell you.

The reason why they 'cancel out' is cause for example there is NO RED in green, hence they cancel out!

I currently own the Graftobian corrector palette. I wish I knew how to use it better. My cheeks and my nose area always very red, and it's hard to get rid of the 'redness'. My question is, should I apply the green all over my cheeks and nose before applying the foundation? Should I apply the green with a brush/sponge/blend it? What is the best way to get rid of the redness?

@sweetylova7 yes he said the coral corrector will be good for dark circles because dark circles are blue and the coral has that orange undertone so they cancel each other out.

This was awesome and very useful. I still find myself wondering if color correctors are useful for a medium to dark brown skin however. Will they perform as they do on lighter skins or will they look ashy and fail to blend with the concealer? Will they provide any additional benefit?

@shuppet88 It didn't hurt her because she got narcotics for the pain xD After the laser treatment the birth mark will swell up for a couple days, go a deeper purple/red and can't be confronted with sun but after a few days it will go a couple shades lighter. So that procedure has to be repeated a couple times until the port wine stain fades away completely. My friend is completely fine now :)

@hoeytje Google "color wheel" to see examples. I think maybe light-blue color corrects white. I know MUFE has a "blue" primer that is offered for people who have very fair skin (almost white). Just a hunch!

@ Shesonthemove, I get red around my nose too, I put the green colour corrector on but I make sure I blend it out well, like he says as long as the redness is not going to go away you can correct it.. Just blend it well. ;-)
