  • best gothic knight

  • the only mistake is from 0:00/0:01

  • Ok I gotta ask, how do you unlock sig? I have the third costume and I bought reqiem and soul calibur but I have yet to figure it out. Nothing worksXP

  • @Kaede113

That's all ther is. I just removed his SCII voice and added sound clips from SCIII afterwards.

  • This sounds better. I wish I had an audio of his english voice collection of Siegfried(SCIII)

  • T.T why did they have to change his voice actor in soul calibur 4 siegfried sounds so awesome in sc3

  • @knerrvana I know, right? Crispin Freeman is epic.

  • I am NIGHTMARE NO MORE! Epic

  • Nice voice edit

  • i've been a soul calibur fan for a while now...and i never knew how Siegfried became Nightmare. could somebody tell me? thanks

  • @oathkeepper94

At the end of Soul Blade, Siegfried takes up Soul Edge from Cervantes' corpse and gets possessed by it.

  • @The4thSnake ok thank you.

  • @oathkeepper94 you arenot that fan then, siegfried plays a role in souledge (the game before soul calibur)

the sword is so evil, that it dominates everyone who wears it, in souledge (game) cervantes had the sword, sophitia and taki killed him, siegfried came close to the death body of cervantes, and the SOUL EDGE (sword) brought the pirate back to life (Inferno/souledege) siegfried fought the flaming corpse (original huh) then took the sword for him self, and yes, the sword took over sig's mind

  • @MetaICowboy my first Soul Calibur game was Soul Calibur II. I never really heard about Soul Edge (game).

  • Why does Siegfried's voice sound so familiar in this game? I never really noticed it until now.

  • @SeriphanKnight He was voiced by Crispin Freeman. More commonly known for Guan Yu (Dynasty Wariors 5), Itachi (Naruto), Sakaki (.hack GU), Alucard (Hellsing) and tons of other characters. Seriously. The guy's awesome. XD

  • @ICanBeAnyone012 Ohh thats why! I used to watch Hellsing way before this game came out.

  • lol "I am Nightmare no more!" Of course, Siegfried! You're you here! XD

  • HOW DO U GET THIS COSTUME!

  • Play through the Weapon Master mode. One of the shops has the costume.

  • finally! thanks!

  • "Ich bin alptraum nicht mehr" that's how Siegfried would say "I'm Nightmare no more" if he said it in German.

  • I think he'd keep the word "nightmare" in English, since its treated as a name, and Germans tend to leave names alone when it come to translations

  • Yeah they do, to try and stop confusion I suppose. But the question is in those days I don't think that was a rule in the German grammer.

  • Well, back in those days, they didn't have a nut running around calling himself Nightmare or Alptraum, so it's hard to say which they would use. But I think they would've kept Nightmare. If it were a title of sorts (say, "the nightmare" for example), then they would probably say, "Der alptraum Siegfried"

  • Yeah I think they could have it subtitled as Nightmare but Siegfried could still say alptraum.

  • @JReed1985 It meens "Ich bin nicht Nightmare, nie mehr!" ("I'm not Nightmare, no more!")

Nightmare is also in the German translation Nightmare and not "Alptraum".

  • @TheEVA03 is my German that bad? don't worry I practice every day and I'm almost fluent. Germans rarely change the names of characters.

  • I absolutely love Siegried's voice in SCIII. Crispin Freeman is a genius. And I was highly disappointed to see him replaced in SCIV.

  • YEAH! ME TOO! I think everything about SCIV sucked ass.

  • how can i take that costume ? i so like sigfried ! 5/5

  • When you have enough gold, it'll soon be available in weapon master's shop.

  • WUT?!? What does this stupid voice in the greatest Soul Calibur of all time?? ;-)

Ah, Ted D'Agostino, being a REAL professional THEATRE ACTOR, lend Siegfried (being Nightmare) an awesome fitting voice -- which is probably because he is an professional.

ALL characters had an absolutely fitting voice, especially Cervantes and Astaroth imo, which all lost their voices to some random kidzone anime voice actor idiots... well, except for Xianghua, which had since SCII the same english voice.

  • Wolf stop talking DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • One thing that pisses me off is this that why the hell do they keep changing his English voice and made the Japanese voice stay the same. It's not fair! Plus I don't what he sounds like anymore. ;_;

  • I also like his voice on Soul Blade. He sounds hot, especially when he gets hit in the back. Sounded like.....well ya know. ^___^

  • Damn he's a real sex machine! ^____^

I mean it!! That's how I really feel about him. ^__^

Don't like it, then fuck you.

  • siegfried is my favorite character in all soul calibur saga is brave, honorable and a great swordsman 5/5

  • his hairstyle is better in sc4

  • Yeah too bad his ending sucks! Made me cry and then puke hence the stress!

  • Siegfried is the best character in the Soul Calibur series. I wish he spoke German or at least used some German words.

  • I agree with you, there was a time in Soul Blade when he is confronted by a certain person, Idunno who it was, Mitsurugi or Taki or something, but he says

    "Show Yourself, SwineHund!"

Swinehund is a German insult... He doesn't directly say it, It's in Text..

but yeah, he did at one point.

And when he's young he's somewhat proud and arrogant, as seen in Soul Calibur Legends And soul Blade. Thats a German Trait.

    Very proud, Strong people.

  • Not only that but also his weapon is called a "zweihander" which means 2-handed sword I think. And it's name is Faust. It came a story or play by Wolfgang von Goethe(pronounced Grr-tah) about a dude with PhD but since he's very lonely and is bored as hell, Faust decided to the most foolish thing: He made a deal with Satan himself! @_@

  • And also he joined this gang called "Der ShwartzWind" which is German for "The BlackWind". ^^

  • I agree! ^__^

  • You should have used Nightmare's Japanese voice from Soulcalibur II because Siegfried retained Nightmare's Japanese voice from Soulcalibur II in Soulcalibur III.

  • I think Nightmare's voices in SCIII is different from the one in SCII.

  • It IS! I saw it on the credits! It wasn't Crispin's voice on SCII......it was someone named Ted I think. I forgot his last name though

  • omg poor ted... thats so harsh..

  • Besides, Nightmare just goes on about taking souls.

  • One more thing: could you upload a video about Nightmare in Soulcalibur II using his Japanese voice from Soulcalibur III please?

  • @IndigoWorks And Nightmare's japanese voice is the same as Link's from Zelda & Demitri Maximoff from Darkstalkers

  • Its perfect because it flows good and it has Siegfried in it.

  • I loved his SC3 voice, he sounds lame in 4... at least he LOOKS badass in 4.

  • He sounded awesome in SC3 because he was voiced by Crispin Freeman.

  • Reason dosen't matter much, fact of the matter is he sounded awesome lol.

  • Yeah, I'd have to say Siegfried's voice in 3 was my favorite. Crispin Freeman does a really good gob of bringing gruff deep voiced characters to life without over doing it.

  • I agree.^^ But I also like Sieg's voice on Soul Blade when he was younger.......sounded like he wanted some sex. I'm serious! Hit him in the back on Soul Blade and you'll understand! ^_~

  • Ok, 5 stars, that was absolutely believable and well done. Perfection.

  • That was pure win. It all flowed so perfectly, so much so that one would believe that Siegfried was actually IN Soul Calibur 2!

  • nice vid

  • *jaw drops* That... was full of SO MUCH WIN. No lie. O_O. 5 stars for pure badassery. XD (Is that even a word? I'm making shit up now. XDDD)
