Description: 37 rounds up to 40. In the rounding rules if it is 5 or more it rounds up if its 5 or less it rounds down. In the number 37, 7 is higher or over 5. So you round up and change the number to 40. Thumbs this comment up so everyone else can see.

i understand what rounding is but what is the relationship with rounding and estimating? i try searching estimation but what comes out is rounding

Estimating means you don't want the exact answer to a math problem, you just want to know about how much.

One way to estimate is to round.

Another way to estimate is clustering.

Another way to estimate is front-end estimation.
