  • I'm also performing this skit in Adv. Drama ;D

  • @MisdermeanerJ

Break a leg! We had a blast performing it. I know this made it look like we needed a lot of work but our Businessman was in 3 of the 5 one acts we put on as well as directed two of them while also trying to write a PhD thesis.

  • @LittleCloggingGirl Oh no, I thought it was great! That's what rehearsal is all about :)

In our version, Gorph and Cannaplit are males, and the businessman is actually a woman. We also have the eunuch and the priestess, and overall, it's really just a great script. I can hardly keep a serious face in rehearsal when reading my lines. xD Thanks! And great job! I hope you guys did good!!

Yeah, it's a fantastic script. We suffered from typical theatre high female to male ratio problems, hence the changes. Out of curiousity, did you guys leave in the word f***er? We had to change it, but lacking a suitable substitute we just used the British slang, bugger.

  • @LittleCloggingGirl xDD Ah. I wanted to leave it in there SO baddd. But we couldn't. We still are using a temporary default word for effer. WE are using cheeseball right now, but we still haven't found another substitute for it yet. Maybe I'll suggest bugger, considering it does sound kinda like bugger xDD

  • Hahaha.... niiiice!!!! :)
