Nope, it's not like Samson, the magic is not gone-beard or not Alfie sings like an angel... :-) I've always loved "Recondita Armonia" and Alfie sings it to perfection-I would love to hear him sing "E Lucevan Le Stelle" too. But then, Alfie could sing pages from the phone book and I'd be listening-what an amazing voice! :-)

Absolutely beautiful! Sadly, I am just now discovering Alfie (and Matt) after watching the Les Mis 25th Anniversary concert on PBS. Just ordered the DVD and will soon be buying Alfie's CDs. Unfortunately I live in a remote area of the United States and will probably never get the opportunity to see Alfie live. However, I love these impromptu kitchen concerts. I would rather watch thesetypes of videos than clips of old interviews or TV appearances. Bravo! Keep them coming.
