a music teacher told me once that Radiohead was music for musicians... I didn't get it, but enjoyed them anyways. after a year of playing guitar... I started to see them with other eyes. and now I realise that I couldn't appreciate them enough before becoming a guitarist. awesome musicians
I'm pissed that I was the first to write the "I've watched this, not just once, not just twice." comment, and some guy named @sapirichka comes along and copies it and gets 160 likes compared to my measly 24! There's no justice in the world I tell ya...
i really don't know what thom yorke had in mind when writing this song but i get the feeling that it's images of something that has to do with being drunk and feeling that something terrible is happening.
@dedemaister He says In Rainbows is about "the fucking panic of realizing your going to die". I think this song is about going out and trying to escape or forget that terror, but it's always looming over you.
@sapirichka lol you definately copied my "not just once, not just twice" pun from the scotch mist video, i commented that 5 months back you little ass! lol
I love this song so much. It's just filled with so much emotion and feeling, I just love Radiohead. I recently completed an animated music video for this since I love it so much:
@sloth85 Oh my god. A thumbs down?!? The ONLY thumbs down on this video? wow you really know how to make a mark. It's his own song and he can sing it however he wants. If you want pitch perfect vocals than listen to the studio version. If you could sing and write songs half as great as Radiohead's than you wouldn't be sitting around thumbing down Radiohead videos.
The use of instruments into this song is amazing, and what makes it so great. The Starcaster just gives the song so much energy, the acoustic giving the song the nice tone, and of course, Ed O'Brien having his amazing affects again with implementing the EBow into the song (His use of affects into songs is so overlooked). Let's not forget about the solid drumming and the bass holding it together.
fuckin fantastic - great performance, good stu....holy shit who's that chick at the end dayummm!!! i'd tap that piece of ass like a jackhammer wooooo~~~
@tebybatero They use both electric and acoustic in the orginial too. The pick on the album, but they strum here because the song is very close to impossible to play. It's not even funny, I nearly broke my fucking fingers trying!
This song reminds me a lot of The Trickster but beefed up. Love it. And the green backgrounds and the Epiphone Casinos make for a lot of eye candy. :D
@wootoodoo Collin is sooo underated...The National Anthem,I Might Be Wrong,Planet Telex,Packt Like Sardines,Bones,A Punch Up At A Wedding,Nude...all would NOT exist (just to name a few) without him!
