  • this was so helpful, I'm in level 3 now and i dont think i could have learned the Te form without this, the way my teacher explained it was terrible

  • it works for learning the ta form also. If you just change every て/で to a た/だ but keep the same tune then it is another useful tool。

  • This version is slightly different to the one my sensei told us, but still using 'oh my darling'! I've found myself singing it while I'm doing housework - so hopefully it will help...

  • dei gai -----> iite...

am i right about that O_o ? im sure i herd it that way.

  • Didn't help

  • We watched this video with Kushida Sensei in CGSB!

  • Really? Can you post the link? Am curious ^^

  • my jap teacher posted this vid in our school blog to help us remember :)

  • Thank you so much! This helps me lots! :D

    Arigatou gozaimasu! ~ ^_^

  • sry I'm probably super late in saying this, but hey! You're using a new camera! I'm guessing DSLR? I was planning to get one, don't know which one to get though. でもとにかく、面白いビデオですね。Te-formの使い方を教えてくれて本当にありがとうございます。

  • in paused vid at 5 sec your face is hilarious LOL

  • > < kakoi~

  • Nice video. When I was taking my Japanese class I used this version of the te-form song :)

  • You're cute <3

  • why are you wearing a headband

  • @RRRemix Why not ?

  • Oh boy! This is so helpful T.T

    Thanks man!

  • thank you so much! I have a really terrible Japanese teacher, and she did a horrible job teaching the Te form, ur song and explanation was really helpful!!

  • I should sing you our te song :) It's really easy and it's addicting! It's so fun!

;P I'll record it with a friend tomorrow and post it as a vid response ;D

  • @Crookedsmile7 Looking forward to it! :)

  • Thanks so much!! I'm studying by myself and I'm trying to skip a class. (I'm going from Japanese 1 to Japanese 3.)

  • haha

    i just learned

    くいーて ぐいーで うつるーて にむぶんーで すしーて

if that is easier for anyone else?

  • @dominicdit

it was numugu-nde, not nimugun-de, right?

    ku-ite gu-ide utsuru-tte numugu-nde su-shite...

    that's what mushroomhead-sensei wrote atleast :D

i had to write this about 250 times until i actually got it :D

ps. sorry for not having ime installed... romaji is bad...

  • thaaanks man my japanese teacher also told me the same thing ( but without song for god sake ) but i totally forgot ( after time passing ) the kuro = kitte and surro shitte

thanks man ill keep singing it till i master japanese

  • does anyone have a script for this song without the kanji?

  • thx~this is a good way to memorize.

  • why can I remember other grammar, and heaps of kanji BUT NOT BLIMMIN TE-FORM!!! Also, this is how we learnt it in high school, but at uni (I started again when i went to uni, even though I only studied it the year before) my teacher didnt know what this song was -_-;;; she asked me to take it to class but i forgot -_-;;;;

  • その歌はすげぇでっな! うちはより多くのにほんごを学びたいや

  • That wasn't that bad! I've heard this version, singing the Te-Form song, whatever version is so useful... arigatougozaimasu!

  • Cool. Glad you enjoyed it :D

  • This one is a little confusing! but umm I think it get it... you are using mu bu nu as mi bi ni because you are using the polite form? so it's the same thing as the other songs right?

  • You got it. Exactly the same, but easier in my opinion because beginning Japanese students learn the desu-masu forms, not dictionary forms.

  • One of my current Japanese professors sang this version to my class last month! :) But I still stick to Santa Claus is Coming to Town. ;P

  • Siiiing it! And put it on Youtube :p

  • It's the one at the end of Givemeabreakman's te-form video. :D

  • So cute!

  • Surely you don't mean me??

  • Well... Both you AND the song.

  • Featuring this!

  • Cheers!

  • Hey! I sent you a video response. Please accept it!

  • Yay! Another te form song! This is nice video quality. What kind of camera do you use?

  • See Gimmeaflakeman's comment below ;)

  • hahah cool!

  • Keep making great videos yourself!

  • がんばります!

  • Nice!

The video is up again, and the new link is 235390.

    Hope this helps people out~

  • Thanks!

  • Hey! Try sending it to me as a video response again. I had to redo it. There was a TINY mistake in it.

Glad you sent the video. Your camera is VERY GOOD!

  • Done! Camera is Olympus E-P1 and Panasonic 20mm lens

  • oh, and what is that on your head?

  • That would be a Buff - multifunctional headwear baby!

  • Brilliant ducky, this was hilarious. Never mind about te forms, the highlight was your comments about the kotatsu. I don't know why, but I found that hysterical.

  • Glad to be a small part of the entertainment in your day Rooty :p

  • Hahaha, I was totally in that class. I was also the only one who knew that this was Oh My Darlin' Clementine. It's a good thing you did this though, because I hate going back to edufire recordings.

  • Haha. Thanks for watching and attending those classes :) Keep up the good work on your Japanese!

  • My studying isn't good right now. I have more important things to do. Japanese was more of a hobby to me.

  • I wish I knew this song before my exam lol...

You are totemo kawaii ne!! :D

  • Remember it for the next time you're in a pickle!

  • You should sing more often. Great video!

  • Thank you! You're too kind ^^;
