    it's a very very jazz sound...

  • the metal bridge is heavier, and the transmition of the vibration of the strings towards the body is not as good as at can be.

    Wood(ebony) is warmer too.

    It is line sound with reverb.

    the sound is fat ,plenty of body

  • if it is a gibson L-4 mahogany...also back and sides are solid, solid mahogany.

  • thats right. I`ve changed the bridge. I´ve made a Ebony one that substitutes the metallic ABR-1 .
