1983, The Wild Style Crew came to Japan, and showed up on many Japanese TV shows. The impact they made in Japan cannot be exaggerated. I didn't know they stayed such a long time (30 days!) and about 40 Wild Style Casts / staff came for promoting this low-budget movie (obviously they were unknown to most Japanese.) I have home-made VHS tape that contains a live show they did in Japan. For me, RUN DMC (Raising Hell) & Public Enemy (For 2nd LP) Japan visit made huge impact on me.
