Does it have to be 5 seconds? Sometimes for me it feels really uncomfortable to hold or breathe out for 5, can it just be a slow breath in or out as long as it's deep and comfortable? =]
I will use this method before going to bed to get myself ready to relax away the day. This with good thoughts is an excellent way to wind down, now i will only masturbate 2 times a week. but now guess who i'm going to be thinking of, i will give you 2 guesses. Get it, 2 guesses!!
Excellent video Katie thank you for the advice I needed that reminder I know all these things but sometimes I forget about breathing properly I feel better already! Thank you
Great video Katie. Like you I also had a stressful week too. But I attend a meditation group on Mondays to give about 30 minutes to at least calm down a little before the chaos of my week kicked in. I also do yoga too, in my house and at the park with others when the weather is warm. And FYI Kaite, it does get REAL nice and warm in Chicago. BTW, i may use that techinque..at least when I'm alone...lol. Thanks again.
I was just doing some breathing exercises last night before going to bed. I learned that my identity was stolen, so you can imagine the stress level I was experiencing. Instead of getting angry or stressed, I just laid in bed on my side and just started to take long, deep breaths. I'm amazed at how it helped me to sleep. I'll have to remember to repeat what I did when I can't sleep at night for any reason. Great video Katie!
Synchronicity is amazing. I started a regimine of breathing excercises a couple of weeks ago and now I find advice/instruction everywhere on the subject. Its pretty sweet. I generally like to use self-hypnosis or eft for relaxation but the breathing works nicely too. Good post Katie.
i'll add the square breathing exercise to my relaxation arsenal;
what i usually do to relax is listen to/ meditatate to "binural beats" (some with positive affirmations on it) which gets my brainwaves to whatever frequency its designed to; and it helps me to practice manifestation, remote viewing and also telepathy much easier

What I find ironic is that it's a 2 minute technique but takes 7 minutes to explain. Still, it's a great technique. :)
