seen their display over 20 times now, they do this one every time, they are trained so well they almost can't do it wrong, as omgjjk91123 said they are 7.5meters away but is a cool illusion!
umm they dont have reserves they have rears pilots get shortlisted and then chosen to fly by interviews the reds pilots fly no matter what so they dont have reserve!
Near miss? They are about 5-10 metres apart at those crosses. It is an illusion... They make it look more dangerous than it is. Not saying what they do isnt dangerous, they are amazing pilots (and I have been to Scampton to get photos by their hawks with cadets at a camp... nearly got a private display but was called off due to weather.)
Still... nice video. They are the best of the best of the best.
You know for a fact they're not based in UK?, Heh, You must be seeing thing's,
The Red Arrows, are based at Lincoln, UK at RAF Conningsby, They were due to be moving out to another RAF Base I think it was Scampton, but since they are closing that down and turning it into a potential airport, than yea.. ...Fact's for you kid.
yes maybe but imagine if i had posted it as 'red arrows this is not a near miss, it's a carefully rehearsed maneuver designed to make the aircraft appear closer from the crowd viewpoint than they really are' i fink u wud b the only person who has watched it so far lol!

The Red Arrow's home is RAF Scampton, and yes correct they do detach to Cyprus for some of the Pre Season.
Previously, Kemble, they use Con alot granted though

Near miss is the name of the maneuver. Blue angels and T-birds use the same name, because there isn't really a better description for it.

A near miss is chance that requires a change of pants; this is skill, and the chaps no doubt will be having a pie and a pint later on...
