  • that actually worked so well!! the only annoying thing now is that the sticker on the front of the cover has left a little sticky patch on the front! soo annoying.

but thanks anyway because i can actually do them now!!

  • I hate doing these things. If only the phones were sold with these things on from the start (rather than those they already ship with, with a part sticking out)..

Extremely perfectionist, and I just can't get this right

  • Hate doing this, it's so tense.

  • Finally! After a million attempts and even more air bubbles, i watched your video and it worked perfectly. Thank you so much!

  • WOW...that technique where you remove about just an inch which allows you to align it perfectly and THEN removing the rest of the plastic cover is so simple but genius. I have watched a dozen of these videos and never got the alignment correct and your little trick just turned on a light in my head and I was like DUH...THANKS :)

  • I give in! 10 screenguards later and still can't do it. :( Nice vid though! :)

  • Not a very good method.. the credit card ended up scratching the screen protector.

  • Really helped! only a few bubbles, was a little confused about which side to peel off first then i saw the numbers hehe i did lose one though =( lined it up wrong so i had to try to fix it and it created bubbles when i tried to put the dust protectors back on the actual protector and then i had double bubbles but oh well

  • Thank god when i tried to get the tag of It left a huge white sticker mark on the screen protector

What kind of cruel joke is this

  • I just followed this and it worked perfectly. Thanks very much.

  • This was the only time it actually came out PERFECT

  • no matter how many times i tried this, i stiil have like a million bubbles

  • what kind/brand of screen protector did u use?

  • Shoulda watched this first...

  • I had dust on my computer screen and was like NOO YOU MISSED STUFF DON'T DO IT NOO!!

  • you dont install a screen protector, you apply it, dipshit

  • @LittleJossieN shutup buddy

  • @gentlemen59 im not your buddy

  • @LittleJossieN sorry dude i forgot, maybe you'll have one some day

  • I don't know why some people even bother. If you're stupid, then just don't even try it yourself. So many people complaining on here because they "don't get it".... Really? It's not rocket science. And I think this is a great instructional.

Anyway, thank you sooooo much for this helpful vid! It gave me a really good general idea of what to do, and buying screen protectors online to do it yourself is soooo much cheaper than buying them in stores or at the mall!

Keep up the good work. ;)

  • you can use windex to clean the screen. just put a little bit in the very middle, then take a paper towel and spread it around. it makes your phone look BRAN new.

  • This is NOT a good instructional video. The screen protector that I received looks different from the one shown in this video. First of all, mine has TWO tabs (to pull the protective layers off with) whereas the one in this video has only ONE tab. Second, my tabs are located on the HOME button side whereas for the one in this video, the tab is on the RECEIVER side (ear side, as he calls it). I was so confused and had to watch it a couple of times before I could understand.

  • @yinstube Are you stupid? Seriously, if yours is different why bag out the guy in this video and go and watch one which has two tabs if you're that stupid you can't work it out? Seriously, Gen Y or what?

  • @JimboMoans

Because of the length limitation for youtube comments, I was not able to provide a full background of my comment. I purchased the screen protector with two tabs from these guys (they guys who made this video) and they directed me to THIS video for installation instructions. So my criticism was legitimate. You were hasty in calling me stupid. Now are you feeling stupid yourself?

  • Just tried this on my IPhone 4S. Had to double heck that I did actually put it on... awesome!

  • Are u sure its a BAD boy?

  • very very helpful, generally confusing tho. where do u buyh the equipment / phone? like this vid but please take down and replace with good vid

  • Comment removed

  • u are a god!

  • install...

  • Thanks Tim Williams!

  • I tried doing this, but right as I cleaned it with the cloth, more dust fell on it.

I ended up applying it upside down sacrificing accuracy for less bubbles

    do you have any suggestions?

  • I bought a pack of 10 and used 8 and thought "This is hopeless, i'll never get it right" Then I thought i know "YOUTUBE!" I searched up what i needed, got brought here and well... My iphone looks awesome! thanks so much man this helped and i got it right 1st time. Subscribed, and i suggest everyone else does for all the hardwork gone into these videos. Thanks again!

  • I did it twice and messed up both the times...

After seeing your video, i got it on my first try!

    thanks a lot bro :)

  • Thanks

  • Thanks so much for the tip on pushing the card while pealing back!

  • I have wasted more screen protectors than I care to admit. Thanks for the tips!

  • Thank youuuuuu so much !!

  • @emilia19349 you're welcome, glad it helped!

  • Thank you - just perfect installed thanks to your instructions!

  • thanks a million!! i tried 3 times. all went in vain. after watching your video... i did it well. super !!!

  • before i watched this video i tried 3 more screen protectors and i couldnt install them without bubbles... after i watched this video... guess what? no bubbles like magic... thank you very much!!!!!!

  • nice picture on your credit card :D

  • hey! I bought for BB5300! this video come in the envelope

  • @rdodemotta ups, 9300

  • if you turn on transcribe audio at 2:53 it says "but that is pretty dam dude"

  • @crazyteet262 and aircraft vertebrae. and tons of other messups

  • Protip: Most protective screens are washable,so don't cry and buy another one if you mess up, just wash it and let it try and try again.

  • thnx i just installed mine on the iPhone 4S

  • glad it worked for you but it epically failed for me so looks like im buying another one lol

  • at the beginning before taking off the sticky side, and u lined it up, there was no point in doing that

  • Thank you! You're awesome :D Your tips apply to pretty much any self-adhesive protector so they help a lot.

  • Cool

  • Thanks for making this video. You were a big help for me putting my protector on and I don't even have an iPhone! :)

  • best how to video ever! ur method works perfectly :] *two thumbs up!*

  • Thanks, I ruined a screen protector with dust and a fingerprint before trying your method with a new one. Worked perfectly.

  • Bi only had one bubble :)

  • FML i did this but still somehow i have 10000 million bubbles in it! there goes $20-$30 of screens >_<

  • Wait.. why am I watching this? I don't even have an iPhone.

  • @rayoku2 omg lol

  • @rayoku2 buy one? ;-D

  • @rayoku2 haha true dat

  • @rayoku2 you're watching this because this applies to any other phone

  • @rayoku2 probably the funniest comment ive ever read hahahaha

  • @rayoku2 Because you wish u did

  • @rayoku2 Cause I have such a soothing voice... duh.

  • That is amazing! I will try this!

  • thanks for the video, I followed it and my screen protector has been installed perfectly!

  • wow mine is perfect... only annoying thing is im such a perfectionist, i can sense the hole that goes around the home button on my iphone 4s is slightly (literally slightly) out of line :/ but its perfect now bubbles :D

  • wow ! I`m do this and it`s perfect now !

  • Yes

  • can u use it right after you put it on?

  • @k3WL3sTP3rS0n well yes of course

  • omg it was like a 2 inch drop guys i think it will be ok or maybe he needs to start crying then you will be happy?

  • 3:06 i love how he dropped his phone and pretended nothing happened.. lol

  • pretty amazing

  • Just Smmooooooooth it OUT!

  • u lost me at ear part headphone part port.

  • Comment removed

  • Now I had put my screen protector and (3:06) oops There goes my ney I phone

  • wow man, 10 outta 5 stars!!!

  • Thank god you made this video, I was putting these on totally wrong!!! Its no wonder i had so many air bubbles! ^___^

  • 0:32

  • worst screen savers ever...the stupid tab they place on it does not come off, so there is this glue/paper residue on your screen saver and nothing takes it off. We won't buy from this company ever again!!!!! not to mention the bubbles!

  • It was very helpful, but still there are tiny bubble around the home button and around the speaker, I don't know whether I do sth wrong or the screen protector is bad...

  • Thank you! This video was the best, and the protector went on almost perfectly. Happy chappy here. :D

  • Ah, I see... It all makes sense to me now. Good show old chap, good show.

  • Damn good job. Airbubbles piss me off

  • Thank you for helping me get it perfect on my new iPhone! I cocked it up five times before this video showed me how to do it. Thanks! :D

  • I put on sooo many screen protectors and i love coming back to this video :) ... I can't believe how many people care about that accident.

  • I can NEVER fucking do this right VFDIUHDONBGOIFDONVUFDIGREDHGJBAHJDN\

  • OK, that is what I needed to see. It answered the question, "What have I been doing wrong by FOLLOWING THE PRINTED INSTRUCTIONS? I always end up with a bubble from a dust speck that fly's in during installation and either lands on the screen during the install or attaches itself to the sticky side of the protector because, according the the instructions, you completely peel the protector away from the second plastic piece before applying it. Thanks!

  • good video, thanks bro

  • wow finally a good video on this... THANK THE LORD> I just orderd 10 screen protectors for 5 bucks so at least one should go on perfect.

  • 3:06 it would be perfect to protect a back :D

  • Отличный способ!)

    thx!

  • FUCKING AIR BUBBLES PISS ME OFF!!!!!!!!!!! GOD FUCKING DAMNIT!!!!!!!

  • @nnniksuu if there are bubbles, take tape and tape the screen protector, then take the tape off, it should look like new and the bubbles are gone =)

  • Great vid bro..Much help

  • COSTCO FTW

  • Thank you soooo much

  • It's indeed a How to Perfectly(!!) install a screen protector!

  • Lol, his name is Timothy Williams of rose dale foot care , said so on his Costco card

  • so does the phone deathdeadrteth at 3:06?

  • 3:06 Is when the phone died 3:34 gets mad

  • come to my house and f**king help me!!!!

  • This worked so good on my iPod touch!!! Thanks!!!!

  • @Hanniemeade same!

  • This way you get like tones of dust between it.... I'm gonna do this in the bathroom after showering :P

  • @tworoelio you don get any dust on it because you just cleaned the ipod and the screen protector is on another piece so if u do it this way each inch of it is only exposed for like not even a second

  • @kixmgc I'm gonna try it tonight thanks for the input... I alway's took the hole piece of the protector and then applied it..

    Thx!

  • this didnt help at all. used all 3 screen protectors after screwing the first 2 up.

  • Now why the fuck can't the manufactures tell us that in the first place? I've already fucked mine up before I saw this video -:(

  • I always fail at 1:30

  • Perfect instructions!! Well done Tim. You are absolutely correct. You must take your time. Thanks Pal.

  • If you get dust on the protector, take some tape to the adhesive side. It'll pull up any dust or dirt and recreate the adhesion. Neat trick to reuse the same protector.

  • I just did it for my Nokia E7. Well the first time any bobbles but after I applied it all I noticed it was not lined up very good so I removed it an reapplied but DONT do that cuz the sticky part will fill up with tinny dust particles and it will ruin it all.

The very best place to do it is in the bathroom after you let the shower run form some time with hot water.

  • My thumbs up goes to the FAIL in big caps.

  • thumbs up if at :33 you paused to see the picture on the back of the costco card

  • dam dude you are a fucking pro at this shit. But at 3:06 fail -.-

  • Ill send you my Phone, do it for me Please XD

  • I did it but i got tiny air bubbles.

  • @manigta /watch?v=sLeZaG8FF54&feature=feedu

  • YAAY, got it on my first try thanks to this video ! Thanks maan :D

  • tnx!!

  • Thanks a lot man

  • Helpful! I still had one speck of dust.... Next time!!

  • at 3:06 it looked like it jumped from your hand

  • your tips were really helpful... thanks

  • That homeboy "PEAAACE" at the end makes this so GAY- it doesn't make a screen protector video any cooler -_-

  • @MrUserAM Who said it does?

  • Comment removed

  • Clean That Badboy Up

    Lol!

  • Guys remember he is telling us not to leave any dust on it... any tiny thing makes a bubble for real... the very small things that you see only when the sun hits them, they stand in the screen before putting the screen protector and there you go... a bubble lol

  • 3:06 fail

  • @aykincakaloz lmao hahaha

  • Lol. Killed the whole mood when you dropped it at the end.....haha

  • Its called a speaker!

  • Thanks.. It helped me a lot.. Only problem i keep having is that I rip off the entire screen protector again when I'm pulling the front sticker off in the end.

  • i fucked mine up, thats a fiver wasted :( lol

  • Thanks dude :)

  • This Video Helped a lot man!! You the Best!!

  • Your a beast dude great vid:)

  • Can you make an updated video with an iphone 4 and using the new screen protector that come with two layers?

  • @dicorsini uhm... its the exact same thing, you really cant figure it out?

  • @Mrgultarplayer69 I still get stupid bubbles and sometimes is not lined up properly...

  • @dicorsini basically, peel off the side facing the ipod about 1" if u need to u can use the credit card to even line it up with the end. then you do as he said. you peel off and use the credit card to push down don't put it down at once. just do it slowly.

  • havent tried it yet, but i will do it with my 3ds ones i get it (im sure it works the same way)

  • Thanks alot! messed up one screen protector on the way but it worked out great! thank you =D

  • iam using a credit card like you but it wont work
