Subhanallaah, I'm looking to heal my heart and increase my Imaan and this is just

what I needed. The way the Prophet(saaw) dealt with his companions and the fact that the companions the noblest, the best generation had short comings is comforting to my heart.

May Allaah accept our toubah and give us good life in this dunya and al akhira.

Good lecture. But I hope he will clearify that tawbah does not mean making sins is ok. When we make tawbah from our mistakes, it should be sincere and we should promise never to go back to it. Tawbah should be a way to purify ourselves. And let's remember that Allah also punishes. There should be a balance between taqwa, tawbah and the Rahma of Allah (SWT). May Allah guide us all. Jazak Allah khayr for sharing:)
