First of all, Everything you've just said in this video is inaccurate.

I know this because I've got experience in wep cracking.

It doesn't take 2 days, It can take less or more depending on the networks traffic.

And you don't need 2 million data packets to crack a a wep network, most f the time you only need 10,000 data packets. But again it all varies.

I just saw this video regarding how to hack and get access to a wifi network with WEP key encryption. Did you all don't know that there is a router that do all this by it self? It is called "wifi freedom", I just bought one a couple of weeks ago. @DANONIKOS go to: backtrack-linux. org/downloads I recommend you download BT4 pre final since the BT4 final version is laggy, at least for me. Takes about 45 sec to open a single console. Pre final works perfect.

@sistermoon999 on windows 7 you can use Cain and Abel, but you need a compatible card (I coudnt get my Alfa to work on it). You also have aircrack-ng suite with GUI for Windows. Another simple program for windows is Airo Wizard. Airo Wizard is faster then Commview, aircrack-ng suite is the fastest I think. But I recommend Backtrack

hi there,, I spent about 11 hours collecting 4000 000 packets from a channel 10 network. unfortunately when I loaded the .cap logs into Aircrag.GUI program I realized that there are only 1 or 2 IVS available for every indicated network. And the funny thing was that I got over 500000 numbers showing on the left side where in your video I saw about 18 with indicated network names. Im runing windows 7 WUSB600N adapter. It took 20 mins for me, it depends how much the router is being used. If its a home router then it probably would take 2 days, but if you want to hack like a bank, then it would take 5 mins because there are so many packets being sent back and forth
