man why is it that whenever artists get signed and they record..they stop singing like they can...and start singing these boring ass songs instead of blowing like they used to. Shes sooo talented..and shes singing these songs dont do justice to her voice

True. I once heard a producer say that when artists record they shouldn't give 100% on wax because if they do, young kids(aka the buyers of most music nowadays) can't sing along. It'll be too difficult and the artist seems less relateable. Also, they don't leave room for growth if they give their all right out the gate. So they record a "nice" version that folks can enjoy on the radio and then they knock their socks off when they sing for them at the live performances. Weird, but it makes sense.
