Great work! The headboard seems a little short but the height obviously works. Personally, I may have to go with a longer length headboard but thanks for making such a great DIY vid. Awesome job!
The plywood width should match the bed frame you are using. The height is completely aesthetic, I've had some that are 5' tall! The only thing you'll want to do is add more brackets to the back to support the weight. I hope this answers your question. Good Luck!
what size bed is that? what length wood did you get? What woulld you recommend for a queen size bed. Sorry if you anwser theses questions already my computer going really slow downloading vids.
thats really nice!!!! i kinda wanted to make one like this but in a rectangle shape but now i like ur better and also i kinda want to add some colums on each side with fluts in front and corwn monding on top of it and in the very top add some lighting to it i think it would look very nice too if u can picture it.
hey! I just made my headboard and need to finish it with the nails. Where did you find them? I have searched over 5 stores and cant find them. Thanks!
Very Nice. I want to do a king size padded headboard for my bed, the problem is that i live in an apartment complex and dont want to damage the walls. How big are the holes in the wall and how can I repair them when I move out?? Thanking you in advance Ms Tiffany.

Hi I got my nail heads at Lowes. Did you check there? You could also check JoAnn fabrics. Good Luck!

what kind of fabric is that?
ladyfausta 7 months ago
It's 1/4" plywood. I got the fabric on sale for $35 total. The plywood, foam, nailheads was $80. So about $115 for the whole project.
I really want to post some more it's just a matter of getting the time to do it, on top of client jobs! Thanks for checking it out!
