上山容易下山难 is not stupid. Cuz when we go up hill our muscles are tensed in a natural direction when "pulling" the entire body upward, but when we go down hill our muscles in the lower legs are actually doing work AGAINST their natural tension, which is why when we get tired our legs are more out of control when stepping down the stairs rather than up. Besides, it is indeed easier to claim up a hill than try to maneuver down safely. You've been using "stupid" a bit too much lately btw.
