The Father draws the sheep to His Son, the Son lays down his life for the sheep (not the goats) and the sheep are eternally secure in Christ.

But you can pluck yourself out because God gives you free will to do so. The gift is there but we must endure to the end to be saved (Matthew 24:13). we can at any time turn back and fall into sin and be forever lost.

I think God's sheep get a little tied up in the details. Yes, we, the "elect" were/are predestined. That's irrefutable, because God said it. But also, yes, it would seem many places a very clear warning not to stray. Jesus said, "My Sheep know my voice." I think that's the best instruction. Follow God and you KNOW you are 100% saved. Anything else is a waste of time, bottomline.

I suppose I would agree on eternal security but not unconditional.

A few months ago I turned my back on God, God came after me but I realised at that moment I would go to hell if I didn't come back in repentance i would go to hell.

what boulbahaiem probably means is that we don't "willfully sin" as described in Hebrews 10:26. Only sins of ignorance are covered in the blood. It was the same way in the OT. Numbers 15:28 And read Hebrews 9:7 It is described as "errors".

Very true and very good! The doctrine of predestination is a damnable doctrine of devils that ruins or hinders the true love for our Lord Jesus Christ. Ottentimes I wonder about the blindness of these people who believe that doctrine. I cannot believe it. They claim to study the word of GOD, they claim to have the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD - how then can they believe such a doctrine?

Careful where you stand friend when you say that. Predestination is not a recent creation but a belief espoused by great theologians like Augustine, Luther and Edwards. It's one thing to disagree and quite another to do it uncharitably or condescendingly.

well, you know, when king David sinned he really fasted, prayed and repented of that sin and NEVER did it again and God cursed him but gave him another chance. if you want to just give up. If is were possible for Jesus to give a man eternal life and then that man lose it, than Jesus was not teaching the truth. Jesus tells us that the ones that receive eternal life will never perish therefore they will not lose their salvation.

Bottom line: The only reason you will enter heaven is because God caused you to put your faith in Christ and continued to cause you to do so. All the glory is His and none of it is yours!

Your simply wrong, a person can have seasons of sin after they have been saved. When such a person is in sin his life will be full of conviction. Until the time that he turns back and repents of his sin he will be unhappy and miserable. There can come a time in a life when repentence is impossible, when the fire has been totally lost. Now does this person then spend his eternity in hell, no not if he genuinly accepted Christ.

No, if you truly are born again, and you start wilfully sinning, then no, there remains no more sacrifice for sins Heb 10:26. you sound like the catholic church where they keep Jesus perpetually on the cross and ask forgiveness for their sins in a zombified prayer every day.

Exactly. I love these epistles of John because he shows the difference between sins unto death and sins not unto death. The sins in the verses you entered are sins not unto death. Sins of ignorance. Sins not willfully committed.

when I read those passages I became so fearfull of the Lord that I started to become righteous in my own understanding so that GOd would be pleaced with me, but that failed miserably, it wasnt until the day of my 25th birthday that in prayer with my mom and aunt God soke through my mom and started giving me promises and blessingme with fire- since that day I was able to turn away from my addictions and now daily im seeking his guideance and im fearfull of doing anything contrary to his Word.
