Even an airhead chicken knows that Eternal Security is true. You are always in fear and in danger of the judgement because you are trusting in your own works. A rebirthed son of God cannot fall away and be lost. You are denying the death and righteousness of Christ.
@ChiefLaughingChicken did you listen to the message? have you listened to my other messages? You comment is categorically untrue. Are you a Christian? Do you care about accuracy? Or did you just come here to ignorantly spew?
@ChiefLaughingChicken first you misunderstand scripture and then you state a flat out fallacy. No one can pluck you out of the Father's hand if you are in His hand in the first place. But you can pluck yourself out because God gives you free will to do so. The gift is there but we must endure to the end to be saved (Matthew 24:13). we can at any time turn back and fall into sin and be forever lost.
@tlthe5th How is that any different than being under the law still? Salvation is by the grace of God, not of works, lest any man should boast. Salvation is not of the will of man, but of God.
John 1:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
Can a reborn, justified sinner, redeemed by the blood of the Lamb lose what Christ has done for him? No, of course not. How then is God Sovereign, if the will of man is the ultimate factor?
@ChiefLaughingChicken it's not our works but the works of God in us when we are born again. we have more than enough power through Christ who makes more than a conqueror. and all the scriptures are absolutely true which you quoted. but being saved is a partnership (fellowship) and we are yoked together with Christ but we can at any time turn our backs on God and leave him. its a fact. and with his help we can overcome. if we persevere and strive and run etc
@tlthe5th Those people who leave Him and fall away and perish in their sins were never born again. As you correctly say, it is God working in us. We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works. Whether you eat, drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. It doesn't glorify God if we take part of the credit. It is not a partnership. Psalm 71:16 I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.
@ChiefLaughingChicken Not true. I have the verses in this message that prove you wrong. Namely this "..and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified,.." That shows the man was sanctified and then fell away and received horrible punishment (hell)
@ChiefLaughingChicken For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
@tlthe5th This doesn't say anything about them being born again, or that Christ died for them. Just that they had knowledge of the truth and turned away from it.
@ChiefLaughingChicken how can you say that this person who "escaped the pollutions of the world" was only a "knowledge"? no one can escape the pollutions of the world unless they are born again. see how many holes you have in your doctrine? how can you call "sanctification" only "knowledge"? i have a hard time believing you know God at all. Because if you did you would fear Him. And "fear of God" is for a reason. Its because you can still wind up in hell if you turn away
@ChiefLaughingChicken Paul worked he said he ran the race and finished the course and there is a crown laid up for him in heaven. but he labored more abundantly than all the disciples yet not him but the grace of God that was in him. he did by God in him. His spirit and God's holy Spirit joined together. i dont understand how you ignore the whole bible and cherry-pick verses and create for yourself your very own cult.
I think God's sheep get a little tied up in the details. Yes, we, the "elect" were/are predestined. That's irrefutable, because God said it. But also, yes, it would seem many places a very clear warning not to stray. Jesus said, "My Sheep know my voice." I think that's the best instruction. Follow God and you KNOW you are 100% saved. Anything else is a waste of time, bottomline.
If you are in the book of life you can be blotted out. Is your name in the book of life? Then if you don’t overcome sin and you don’t endure to the end you can be blotted out of the Lamb’s book of life.
Rev 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
The only eternal security a Christian has is if he abides in Christ!
Joh 15:2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
I feared God when I believed in free will and I fear Him now that I believe in Predestination. A man will reap what he sows, therefore every man ought to fear God.
Your voice is awesome. I agree with your theology. You are dead on when you say that a passage should be read in the context of the WHOLE BIBLE. I think that people forget that. Simple exegesis, bosses!
Thanks for uploading this, for sometime I have been doubting the doctrine of unconditional eternal security.
I suppose I would agree on eternal security but not unconditional.
A few months ago I turned my back on God, God came after me but I realised at that moment I would go to hell if I didn't come back in repentance i would go to hell.
I am from the cristian congregation they have the same doctrine as he has
and let me tell you I had a experience with god very powerfull and he is the one who teached me and I was muslim before I saw the lord coming down to me and the demons where runing away from me at the same time I am trying to tell the muslims but most of them ignore my cry
what boulbahaiem probably means is that we don't "willfully sin" as described in Hebrews 10:26. Only sins of ignorance are covered in the blood. It was the same way in the OT. Numbers 15:28 And read Hebrews 9:7 It is described as "errors".
Very true and very good! The doctrine of predestination is a damnable doctrine of devils that ruins or hinders the true love for our Lord Jesus Christ. Ottentimes I wonder about the blindness of these people who believe that doctrine. I cannot believe it. They claim to study the word of GOD, they claim to have the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD - how then can they believe such a doctrine?
Careful where you stand friend when you say that. Predestination is not a recent creation but a belief espoused by great theologians like Augustine, Luther and Edwards. It's one thing to disagree and quite another to do it uncharitably or condescendingly.
@mbiru34 What makes them great ??? If they believed and taught a lie, then they are just like every other false teacher out there. Only the passage of time and mindless following cause these men to be revered like some kind of error free demi-god.
thank you my brother for telling us what we need to hear not what we want to hear. This is truth, it is not the hearers of the word who will be declared righteous but the doers of His word.
So I was saved when I repented and put my faith in Jesus Christ.
I changed alot sence I did so. But I am not saved now because, I have not been perfect sence I have been saved, I am sure I have willfully sinned sence I have been saved.
Is what your saying is I have no chamce now, there is no more sacrfice for my sins?
If this is so, then why should I bother, I am screwed.
well, you know, when king David sinned he really fasted, prayed and repented of that sin and NEVER did it again and God cursed him but gave him another chance. if you want to just give up. God will not bless you for that. We are called to be soldiers against sin the flesh and the devil. And we are to gird up with the FULL armor of God. Why? TO FIGHT and NOT let satan take us down. We have been given the tools to be victorious. But if we neglect it it is our own faults.
What do you say about Jesus leaveing the 99 sheep to go get the 1? I know you say we have to look at these in context, but you don't get to much into the context.
I am not sure about eternal security. Your video happen to be the first on my list.
if a sheep goes astray, that's one thing, willful disobedience it quite another. going astray usually means by accident. not being belligerent toward God.
If is were possible for Jesus to give a man eternal life and then that man lose it, than Jesus was not teaching the truth. Jesus tells us that the ones that receive eternal life will never perish therefore they will not lose their salvation.
Bottom line: The only reason you will enter heaven is because God caused you to put your faith in Christ and continued to cause you to do so. All the glory is His and none of it is yours!
i know your favorite verses right? those verses mean you can do ANYTHING and still be saved... to you they mean that... but not to me. That just means no other force EXCEPT MYSELF can pluck me out of God's hand...
Calvin stated of Servetus, when writing to his friend William Farel on 13 February 1546:
Servetus has just sent me a long volume of his ravings. If I consent he will come here, but I will not give my word for if he comes here, if my authority is worth anything, I will never permit him to depart alive ("Si venerit, modo valeat mea autoritas, vivum exire nunquam patiar").[
Calvin and Mohammad have alot in common , blood on their hands
if people had to disobey God everyday then they could not be held accountable for sinning ,if they didn't have the power to stop sinning then they could not be judged for sinning!
but since men do have the choice and can stop sinning they will be judged and need Jesus to forgive them..
if men could not stop sinning then they would not need Jesus, they could not be judged! unless God was a cruel tyrant
Excellent video, brother! So many are deceived by false doctrines that abound. What astounds me is how 2 recent conversations were dripping w/ concern for me. Trying to show me I have eternal security. I'm all 'yeh, as long as I remain in Him, endure to the end, etc'.
The Holy Spirit showed me the Truth at a time when I was alone w/ Him. Very powerful experience. NO man can dislodge what the Holy Spirit, Himself showed me.
Those who have a love of the Truth will hear. And seek to know it.
SUCH a good video, brother! We need more on this TRUTH. And those who possess a love of the Truth will hear the message. Those who don't? .......2 Thess looms in my mind and makes me tremble for them.
Hebrews chapter 6:4 - 6 it is impossible to bring back to repentance those who were once enlightened— those who have experienced the good things of heaven and shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the power of the age to come and who then turn away from God. It is impossible to bring such people back to repentance That looks "lost" to me. Now let's add this: 1 Timothy 5:12 Having damnation, because they have cast off their first faith.
But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
2 Peter 2:1 KJV
Please folks read Jude and 2 Peter 2.
Read what Jesus said about false teachers in Mt 23 and John 8.
But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
Read what Charles H.Spurgeon had to say on the subject.
Your simply wrong, a person can have seasons of sin after they have been saved. When such a person is in sin his life will be full of conviction. Until the time that he turns back and repents of his sin he will be unhappy and miserable. There can come a time in a life when repentence is impossible, when the fire has been totally lost. Now does this person then spend his eternity in hell, no not if he genuinly accepted Christ.
Are you serious? Why should I read what a man has to say? Notice you don't tell me to read the BIBLE. I can't stand cultists such as yourself. Hell will be plastered with the likes of you...
O RLY? Obey God or What will happen? nothing? WRONG. First off. God talks about Chastening and how it is Grievous. Then God says. IF "Ye Endure Chastening" God deals with you as children. Oh well, then, what does it mean for you if you DON'T endure chastening?? Hmmm, well, if we keep READING the word of God we'll see that God plainly states that if you turn your back on Him, He will turn His back on you.
God is no respecter of persons and His words of warning are to every one on earth. And Christians will be held all the more accountable. The Jews were stoned to death for disobeying God. God states in Hebrews 10 "of how much sorer a punishment" will one be deemed worthy for trampling over the Son of God"??
I agree but answer this: if I am born-again, serving God, then one day I start sinning after salvation, doesn't God give us the opportunity to repent for those sins (post salvation) at that point and get back right with God? what about 1 John chapter one? "If we confess our sins, he is faithful to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness"...."the blood of christ is cleansing us from our sin"???
No, if you truly are born again, and you start wilfully sinning, then no, there remains no more sacrifice for sins Heb 10:26. you sound like the catholic church where they keep Jesus perpetually on the cross and ask forgiveness for their sins in a zombified prayer every day.
the sins that are forgivable AFTER a man is saved, are sins not unto death, sins of ignorance. it's always been that way for the people of God. Heb 10 verifies that it's worse now for us if we keep sinning wilfully.
God, through His Son living in us allows us to walk holy and upright before God. Don't listen to the false prophets who tell you, "You can sin... thou shalt not surely die" But what does God say? "The soul that sinneth, it shall die" Paul reaffirms this, "The wages of sin is death"
if you continue on sinning, on judgment you will be cast into hell with every other sinner. God demands obedience and He gives us the power to do so. that's what the good news is all about. Power.
of course not. other wise i would be a hypocrite. but anyway, you're looking at it the wrong way. why would you ask me that question? let god be true and every man a liar. even if i did sin, the bible remains the same. Willfully sinning is condemned by the Lord. Especially if God has quickened his word to you and shown you that you are not to sin any longer. what did jesus say to the man? "Sin No more lest a worse thing come upon thee."
For those who refuse the chastening of our LORD, the word of God saids they are bastards, interpreted for those that do not know the difinition of this word, it means they are not legitimate children. Many to their own destruction ignore this. Bottom line; God is making us into His image the very image of His Son, not the other way around we making God into our image.Too many are doing this & they are not even on Mars Hill,(serving an unknown god).Time to take down All idols & strongholds! Thx U
"Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall." 1 Cor 10 Read this whole chapter as another solid proof that Once saved always saved and "preservation of the saints" is false doctrine.
good vid, it wipes out whole denominations in one blast. but remember..
1Jn 2:1My little children, these things write I unto you that ye may not sin. And if any man sin, we have an Advocate with the Father, Yahshua Ha Mashiyach the righteous:
2and he is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for the whole world.
3And hereby we know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
Exactly. I love these epistles of John because he shows the difference between sins unto death and sins not unto death. The sins in the verses you entered are sins not unto death. Sins of ignorance. Sins not willfully committed.
when I read those passages I became so fearfull of the Lord that I started to become righteous in my own understanding so that GOd would be pleaced with me, but that failed miserably, it wasnt until the day of my 25th birthday that in prayer with my mom and aunt God soke through my mom and started giving me promises and blessingme with fire- since that day I was able to turn away from my addictions and now daily im seeking his guideance and im fearfull of doing anything contrary to his Word.

John 10:

28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
The Father draws the sheep to His Son, the Son lays down his life for the sheep (not the goats) and the sheep are eternally secure in Christ.

Calvinism is a product of Augustine theology and dangerous, its eliminates
personal responsibility for one's actions,, its very much the same control and being
attempted by the socialist agenda NWO...
truth is all men are made in Gods image and then become tempted and stray away into sinning..
sin is a action that is judged,, not something mystical or unknowable..sin is not transmitted or jumps from
person to person, sin is rebelling against God and doing a action that is judged,,
Jesus is Lord

"Read what Charles H.Spurgeon had to say..."
Are you serious? Why should I read what a man has to say? Notice you don't tell me to read the BIBLE. I can't stand cultists such as yourself. Hell will be plastered with the likes of you...

You still need to repent and obey God. Eternal security or not.
gneisenau321 3 years ago

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness"...."the blood of christ is cleansing us from our sin"???
splintercellsam33 3 years ago

Power.

have you ever sinned wilfully since 1997?
splintercellsam33 3 years ago 2
of course not. other wise i would be a hypocrite. but anyway, you're looking at it the wrong way. why would you ask me that question? let god be true and every man a liar. even if i did sin, the bible remains the same.

3And hereby we know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
jonbob100 3 years ago 7
