To be fair, Ortiz looked much better at 147 than in 140. To make a sound judgment, you'd have to wait until he fights more at 147 - he was different mentally in the Berto fight. Mayweather to destroy Ortiz though.

@laistar Agreed.He earned his chance to fight Mayweather tho. It was 146 but look at the weight they both walked in at. Looked more like a middleweight fight. He quit at 22yrs old.Still a kid and 1st time being in a dog fight.He was in another one with Berto but was mentally stronger than he was back then bc of the experience he got in the Maidana fight.. It was too obvious to miss. He also has been calling out Maidana again but hes just been ignored.
