New Youtube Channel Design My Opinions

The streaming is a lot worse than it used to be, realy putting me off youtube, do not mind how it looks as long as the streaming is perfect.

beta channels suck i have problems with the beta channel its slow as fuck when i subscribe to some one that has the beta channel its slow it sucks and i dont make a big deal about it i just hate it

As I told 2 people before be descriptive not generic why do you think the Beta sucks don't go beta sucks or beta fails give a real answer not some previously stated one

Well, asthetically, for one. It's not as clear which channel you're on. I liked how the profile was at the top, now you have to scroll down. Plus, the way the videos are set up is horrible, and deceptive. Now, the ratings are nearly invisible, so you have no idea whether the video is worth watching or not. The only good thing about Beta is the player, which could have just replaced the existing featured video section. Other than that, there is nothing good about it.

functionality aside, aesthetically it fails, makes me feel nautious just to look at it, your channel page is an extension of who you are, how it looks is very important, these beta channels all look the same, theirs no personality, it takes away our individuality, we need greater design freedom, the ability to express who we are is a basic human need

Okay I have a rule on this video SAY SOMETHING ORIGINAL if you want to express your opinion that the beta sucks tell why better yet go to the beta blog and tell them. Spamming BETA SUCKS HOMO KID BLAH BLAH BLAH doesn't help your cause.

is it possible to change the transparency of the boxes like in regular channel that goes from 50% to 100% thats only thing i dont like about the new channels

It really isnt possible yet Brian from the new channel dev team said they are working as hard as they can to figure out if they can do it. They are not sure if its possible yet but they really are working on it.

lol. i dont see the problem on it. what driving me crazy is youtube make max 2gb. you think that will cost them more. i like the new beta look.

Youtube isn't losing to much money all the experts have said Google is shifting costs to youtube because advertisers are more likely to jump onto a ship that is losing money and has a lot of users. If youtube was more successful advertisers may think they aren't as desperate for ad support.

i dont mind the new set up with channel design,and i dont mind change in general,you soon get used to it,just some changes i dont like,the old bulletin system being one of them and the shitty new bulletin system being another,its really took something out of youtube,at least for me.

The bulletin system was pulled with out warning, the betas have been around for months. so I think its fair to say that this in now way compares to the bulletin.

I do agree that people are making too big of a deal about it, but I think that Youtube should give people the option to have the old channels or the new channels. I might change my channel to Beta for now to get used to it.
