  • Great ideas! I show this same drill to many of my students. Thanks for the information.

  • Stan. Great! I've been experimenting putting one handed on the course. It works. It changed me from a terrible putter to 2nd place at the "Golf Hall of Fame Putting Championship". I found that facing the hole while using one hand is the key. That allows the golfer to focus on the target rather than on the ball during the stroke.   • Some trick footage! He started w/ 8 balls sitting there then before he hit the first ball the camera went to the feet and balls and there where like 5 then he hit 5 or so balls, camera zoomed out and there were 4. He putted on in w/ one hand on camera!

  • This is so true. Putting with your left hand only really let's you feel what it is like to release your left arm. It feels weird, but the ball goes in the hole.

  • Wow. I'm going to try that. He holed so many of those. People have told me I hole more 3 footers by knocking it off the back of the putter out of disgust for missing the 5 footer that I just ran 3 feet by on the previous shot using my normal stroke.

  • his chipping method was really helpful to me. His book "Art of the short game", no putting involved in the book though. i think he has a putting book though
