@sagitaurean door plating is a difficult task in trains like duronto rajdhani shatabdi. rest passenger train are not that much a problem. @cheersabhishek must have done some jugaad to stand there. :)

Please tell more about this train like What is the meaning of Duronto, How many scheduled halts are there between CST and Howrah. I am told that the train does not pick up passengers from in between stations.

@kuckudk A lot of speculation is on abt this train, the literary meaning being - fast. As of now, it seems 2 b d fastest long distance train in Indian railways.Dere wil b no commercial stops in between, hence it wil reach its destination earlier than Rajdhanis.

Reservation will be done on a point-to-point basis.

It wil b fully reserved.

Fares include meal charges & wil b less than Rajdhani fares.

It has 5 technical stoppages.

This train does not pick up passengers 4rm in between stations.
