How awesome is that last scene in Abbey Road Studios (I'm guessing that's Studio No. 2) with Mal? Rarely do you get an insight into those crazy sessions that ensued like that.
perhaps if he did less stupid recordings of him and his mates getting high and went and visited his son a bit more i would have more respect for him but as it was he liked to indulge his little imaturities. Greatest Briton don`t make me laugh. my mum gets my vote
youre a little immature yourself, arent you? without his "immaturities" rock music or even music would be very different without him. he also profoundly changed the atmosphere of the times to be more progressive and strong. yes he should have seen julian more, but you need to understand the life and psychology of a person before you can compare them with someone you know. i'm sure if your mum was a beatle, had no father, a mother who gave you up and died, etc youd be different..
Yeah. If John hadn't been insecure he wouldn't have made Help! or the greatest solo album by any Beatle, John Lennon//Plastic Ono Band, or any number of other works. Recognizing that John was immature and insecure is accepted as part of being a fan of John's. As I said, assuming he hadn't changed the world with The Beatles, he would still have been a fascinating psychological case study. He is a leading example of what untreated childhood psychological trauma can lead to.

I dont think people realize this but John was quite a sharp dresser.I always love his look and especially his glassess.I wear glassess and he is a cool guy who also wears them.
