The whole point of metal, is to not understand all of it. And Dave isn't actually singing metal, he's singing screamo, which isn't actually a type of music. No type of music screams constantly. But metal isn't bad, and I don't think anyone should say one type of music is awful just because they don't like it. Metal is amazing and is in the minority, as is rock and alternative and punk etc. Stereotyping is INSANE GARBAGE, and you should try metal itself before talking bull about it.

This isn't "screamo." that genre's really hard to define, and again you're wrong with the fact that "no type of music screams constantly." Death Metal in itself is almost all screaming, with very few singing, if it's Melodic Death Metal or something. You've got a good passion to defend metal, but really you have no correct information.
