I know this isn't the place for glib comments, so I'll just make the one. I've just been watching Dr Who and the Ark in Space. The leading Wirrrn, Noah sounds exactly like the vocals to this song. For comparison, you can hear Noah speak after his mutation at the beginning of part 4. I'll go and crawl under a rock now. Making a comment like this here is as bad as farting in church!

BTW I love the actual sound and vibe of this song. So dark, yet so sad and sensitive.

People put comments like "this is good with 'magic mushrooms'", you actually shouldn't need drugs for this too be good music.

You should be able to absorb the music and appreciate. I can't be the only one out there that feels that way about Coil and other similar groups.

@WEISsGEBeter i listen to coil both sober and stoned and i can tell you the music is 1000x more intense stoned ..there is a surreal catharsis and inner peace you get after listening to this type of music when baked or tripping balls.

@eggfleece When I posted that comment it was after listening to Coil mildly high, I got "blasted off my tits" a few days ago and put on Coil... holy shit. I laid on the couch, unable to move with my leg/foot twitching every once in a while until the song was over. (the song was Broccoli)

There r so many people looking for da new experience or one that resonates w/ their inner world.I say u will find it in contemporary classical music.Stravinsky,Babbitt,Toovey,Birtwhistle,Pierre Boulez,MikeFinnissey even Ives is way more thoughtful and the sounds are unbelievable. Anything with a beat is just not gonna get it! I hopei can get some young people to stretch.THIS REALLY IS NOT VERY IMAGINATIVE. compared to what serious composers are DOING.rip SLEAZY!

@lovesGenet Classical is a very difficult genre to explore initially, and these artists have huge amounts of music to choose from, so where would you recommend starting for someone who enjoys music like Coil?

@mgfoster This song actually has a piano base to it so start there. You can also try Baroque Classical music. That's kind of like the gradnfather of Symphonic Metal. Maybe, you'll find something there you'll enjoy.
