Also I love the thing that goes on the crib, we have the rainforest one. I LOVE IT! My son is almost 2 years old and still loves it. I use it for my 5 month old as well.

i wanted one of those shopping cart covers, and one of my relatives lectured me about kids and germs LOL... "that's why kids are sick today...blah blah blah,... they don't get exposed to germs and don't build an immune system"... dang meddling relatives! hehe

That's funny. One of the things I like about the Boon spoon IS the deep spoon and I hate the Gerber spoons because they are too flat lol

@CreationofClay how old is your baby? is he/she able to get all the food off that spoon? my daughter can't get the food out of there and i tried using it and I can't either!! hate it!!

He is 8 months old. He does very well getting the food out of the spoon. He is breastfed so he may be more dexterous or more a powerful sucker lol I've only used the spoon a few times because he eats veggies and fruits at each meal and about 4 oz. But it is great for on the go solid meals.

My daughter loves her light up mobile for her crib. Hers is the sea life one and she is able to turn it off and on my herself because there is a big button towards the bottome of it. Also we have one of the highchairs that just strap to one of the dining table chairs. I love it and it doesn't take up any extra room.

My mom bought him one of those sound/light things to go in my son's crib.. (he normally doesnt sleep there) I put him in his crib to take a nap and had that one..all he did was roll over and scoot himself to it and watch it lol :)

I LOVED my Boppy for sitting. It was perfect. I also used it for bottle feeding. Cart cover is a must too. My first purchase when I found out I was preggo. I'm a major germaphobe.

the best spoons and sippy cups are the take and toss..... you can reuse them and not that expensive so if you lose no big deal and the cups best ones for no leaks!

I have the Fisher Price Space saver high chair. It is awesome, and really easy to clean. I think it was around $50. This is my third and final baby and I hated the huge high chairs. They took up way too much room. Plus, you said you liked eating together as a family. This highchair attaches to one of your table chairs so she is at the table with you. Thought you might want to know.

Who makes that shopping cart? Is it expensive? I bought one already but mine isn't stretch like that one so I speculate that's why it's such a hassle to put on.

does she like the precious planets mobile? im looking for something like that, that i dont have to wind up every 30 seconds and that my daughter will like so she might want to spend more time in her crib and maybe start sleeping in her crib. she actually likes her wind up mobile but i hate having to wind it up so much and it doesnt even stay on long. she doesnt mind being in there but only for short amounts of time. i want her to feel more comfortable in it and start sleeping in there.

My daughter wasn't interested in toys really till she got older. So I know what you mean! She still goes after our stuff too sometimes. And as for JJ sitting up at 19 weeks. I have to agree that all babies are different, my daughter was almost sitting up perfect at 4 months. Which confused me watching other babies on here sitting up at 6 months. My Dr. was telling me it was early but I didn't know how early. lol

I loved our fisher price crib light up soother...the only thing is that they run out of batteries super super fast...I was literally changing the batteries once to twice a week. Maybe mine was defective...let me know how it works out for you cuz I really want to get her another one.

hi again laci, just a quick tip re the muscial cot toy, i have read in lots of books & was also told by others not to put anything with lights or flashing things in the cot because what you r doing is then stimulating their brain intstead of relaxing them to go to sleep (sort of like why your not supposed to watch tv in bed!) just stick to the music, my daughter listened to lullaby cds, i would just repeat on the cd player & it worked a treat. how is she going in her new room? Happy New Year! xx

Hi Laci, just thought id tell you that you should be able to just purchase a new vinyl 'cover' for your high chair instead of having to buy a whole new chair , esp if you are happy with the chair itself. thats what i did with mine as it was given to us and only a few years old but the seat cover was ripped so i rang the chair brand but they were really expensive so i just rang a big baby outlet near us & they sold like a generic cover that fits most chairs and got one from there & it fit fine xx

If you go in the hardware section at walmart, you can buy a carabiner clip and clip the shopping cart cover belt to the cart (so you don't have to feed it through every time) Ok, that probably makes no sense...lol! I'll send you a message with a pic.

I think the bumbo helped Ella learn how to sit she is so small so she still hasn't grown out of it yet. So we still use the bumbo at times for feeding at grandmas. We now have a travel booster seat by first years. Yea my Gerber spoons are turning colors also I think its because the dishwasher is discoloring mine. Moby Wrap hurts my back now and it is def harder with her getting bigger. I used mine for months 2-5 I think.
