  • Yeah man. This was was the real deal of soul funk ! We heard this tune on WSID, WWIN, WANN, WDAS, WHAT, WIBG. This is a taste of old school. Havre de Grace, MD. Bro Heavy

  • the ground round for the boss hounds...

  • Finally found this tune! Some of the words have been going through my head lately and it took some digging to find the title, to in turn find a post on youtube. I was 12 years old and living in Baltimore when this was on the charts. Still remember hearing it on WCAO radio. Thanks for posting it! It would have bugged me to no end until I found it again.

  • sukie-sukie-sukie...Pittsburgh.

  • This was a big hit in Pittsburgh

  • one bad-ass tune y'all

  • This was a "top 20" hit on Baltimore's pop charts, but doesn't appear to have done anything elsewhere.

  • super post !!!!!!!!!!!

  • Mad Mike Monsters Volume 2 on Amazon

  • Cheers mate, appreciate the info!

  • @Modpimp ...Harvey's "Anyway you Wanna" exists on a bootleg CD, on the aptly-named "Marginal" label: "Rare Tracks From Detroit Vol 3" (Marginal Bar 127), released in 1995. It's never been legally issued.

  • this is a tune! shuffle shuffle. love it. do the popeye.

  • Now children dont fight! Boy this is one classic tune it takes me back to the good old days!

  • I love this song!

  • dude, stop being a prick to this guy and go fuck yourself.

  • Hey, shut your mouth, no one asked for your opinion you dirty shit bag. Why don't you stop leaving stupid comments on videos and get a life you retard.

  • I used to hear this song all the time in Chicago on dusty radio 1390 about 10 yrs ago, which is no longer.

  • "She Loves Me So" was the b-side to this and "Whistling About You"

  • Alot of harvey an anna's recordings used the Motown studio along with the Funk brothers...like this one.

  • MotownMaster, This was the A-side of that song. The B-side was either "Whistling About You" and "She Loves Me So", the two songs that you posted earlier.

  • This song was popular on Saint Louis, Mo radio for several years in the sixties. I've always wondered why it only reached the "Bubbled Under" charts. #131 in March, 1963. Great record!
