in order to see a 4 dimensional object you have to see a 3 dimensional object of all its entirety so it is impossible to see a 4d object in Cartesian coordinate... ie you must create a new coordinate system, ass backwards yes but its the only way... its like seeing a 3d object in the first dimension = not enough information in the first dim under cartisan coordinates
To try to put some of this bickering to rest, the type of 4D being used here is quaternion space, a complex plane using complex numbers with a single "real" axis and three "imaginary" axes. The Julia fractal is produced in the quaternian realm, projected into a 3D solid with color shading to represent the 4th dimension, and raytraced to produce a video in a 2D rectangle.
Read the damn article linked in the description. You might accidentally learn something.
@brandeezy108 i dont know what kind of dimension you are talking about, but actually the forth dimension is considered a 4th direction in space, which human beings cannot see because we're 3dimensional beings. 1st dimension is only one direction, as a single line with nothing beneath it. 2nd is a surface without anything below or above it and 3rd is what we call space and we dont know whats next to that. we could only see the shadow of it.
@musikisgeil well, the dimensions are not ordered by number, there just is time and then the "4th spacial dimension".. no dimension "comes first" and so, no dimension is the 1st, 3rd or even 4th dimension
@musikisgeil well, yes and no. yes, time is a dimension. and no, it is not a spacial dimension, (time is a dimension that can be added to any spacial dimension)
@Fugtardify yeah sure! i bet you are one of those guys who goes to a cinema and gets water splashed over you and your seat is shaking and you think "wow, thats 5D already!!!!"
@CrashBandiFan3000 that would mean that 3 dimensions equal depth times 4, which also equals time.
jesus christ why am i arguing with semi-educated children on the internet. crashbandifan3000 and all the others just pick a video of the related section on the right where the title says something like "4d rotation"
@musikisgeil Whatever you say, You think im a normal Troll Child. That was figure speech, you dont expect a 14 year old talk so inmature now, would you? No. Semi Educated Children You Said , At least You Tell if you know any other language to speak when you were 6? you probably did not even know your own. so now gently say STFU, You suck Here. And don't make me want to Say bad stuff Mr.Troll.
@musikisgeil The fourth dimension is by definition a series of three-dimensional universes... just as the third dimension is an infinite series of two-dimensional universes (planes). In the real world, we know the fourth dimension as time. That need not stop programmers and mathematicians from using a fourth dimension of data as a spatial dimension, of course - just look at Miegakure. But in the real world, the fourth dimension is in fact time.
@LPFer Under what notice? Not to start an arguement but If time is the fourth dimenson, why can we move through time but not control it? I think time is not spatial, it's something we can't label, but I know nothing about science however I do know good mathmeticians can figure geometry of 4d or even 5d objects. How do people know time is even real, how do we know it's not just a sense of movement. That would make blinx the time sweeper 4d which controlling time is not four dimensional.
@musikisgeil dude ffs the 4rth dimension IS time, it is also motion. it goes like this, say you have a cube, in the first dimension its 1 point, 2nd is 4 points, 3rd is 8 points, 4 is time AND motion not just time, 5 16 points, 6 is 32 points, and it just ceeps going
@Cheezwizhi9 Seriously, did you even bother to read the description? Or the article? Don't answer questions you don't know the answer to, Cinema4d isn't even mentioned, he WROTE HIS OWN raytracer, pay your respects fool.
It looks like a waste of time to me.

@musikisgeil 3th Dimension Haves Depth, Something normal to us, That means they can see time!

@CrashBandiFan3000 "3th dimension haves depth" is that ancient english?
musikisgeil 4 months ago
@musikisgeil I dont find any other accurate way to spell.
maybe 3_dim=depthx4=time?
