Please read my comment below first and then read this as it will make more sense to you. Anyway like I said below Sony have no plans for the PS4, instead they are going to continue developing the PS3, so in about 4 to 5 years time me might see the PS4 but at the moment Sony don't plan to release the PS4. Think about it, if you look around you will see designs that go from strange to down right ugly, why is this? Because people want to fool you into believing them, just ignore them.

Apparently they are planning something for a couple of years time from now, so as Nintendo and Microsoft design and develop new consoles, Sony apparently have no plans for a new PS4 in the near future, from what I've heard they are instead going to continue developing the PS3, so yes you might see new PSP's etc entering the market but not the PS4, not for a few years at least

We all new this was going to happen when the psp came out they came out with the ps3 now that the ps vita is coming out they are coming out with a ps4 to match. The ps2 is still the best selling system of all time and they are still making games but Sony made a mistake with the ps3 living off of the ps2 reputation and over pricing it now they have a chance to come back with the ps4 and not make people pay for online like we know who and throw in backwards compatibility
