Why are we forced by the game creators not to date N but obviously he likes your character. Its unfair we should have the right to go out with N in the game or should make a pokemon dating game for any and all pokemon trainers and you can choose who you are and who you date.

@Eliittimies I don't think it is necessarily. The main characters of black and white seem to be intended to be a bit older than in previous generations. They seem to be more around 16(age of consent here in the uk) and N seems to be around 17 or 18 since there doesn't look like there's much difference between him and white in terms of age appearance wise.

@Aquentis Absolutely doesn't. Nintendo even stated when the games were barely announced that the heroes would be "older" this generation. An exact age was never specified, but they are definitely at least somewhere in their teens (whether that's 13 or 18 being a different story). Furthermore, in the anime Iris is roughly 10, being about the same age as Ash (who, yes, is confirmed as still being 10). In the games, the main characters are clearly much bigger/older than the kid that is Iris.
