@chojin21 true, it would've been a different story if it had been a gsr, or even an evo 8/9. Bigger turbo doesn't always necessarily mean better acceleration. It's really dependent on the tune, as well as supporting mods.
To everyone out there disputing the win, I don't think there is a clear winner. Yes, the STi jumped the gun, and the Evo was able to pull before the boost was turned up. In the end, a real race begins from a dig.

I was hoping to use this video to help me decide between buying the HTA 35 or PTE 6262. I can't really do that though considering the EVO is heavier and the Subaru has the bigger motor. I'll have to find another video cause now im leaning toward the 35r instead of the 6262

@iampnp Not goin to argue that point borg warner turbos are great hands down l could only imagine how good the efrs are goin to be but for my limited budget l couldnt the power, price and reliability of the PTE turbos
@Butterfly22593 the pte turbos dont come with an integrated bov or high pressure wastegate, dont require any water cooling or oil restrictors, thus saving you money in parts so it offsets the price. Plus you gain the benefit of having titanium alloy components with flow rates way beyond turbos of the same size from other companies.

the video only proves that the STI has more displacement to get the 6262 to spool quicker than the 2.0 HTA82. Also, if Evo is on stock block then he is not going to push power on the HTA82 much past 500whp.
OP, if you can please post up full mod list so we can see what size injectors, if running double pumper, etc. Good vid.

Clearly you can hear the STi not only jump the gun but also brake boost. Never heard the Evo brake boost but heard the STi do it almost every time.

As an sti owner im proud to see an sti with lower boost and pump gas go toe to toe with an evo on corn juice. Nice races!

@iampnp as a evo owner i would have to agree with but come to think of it the sti did have a BIGGER turbo than the evo and of all evo's its a MR.
