  • I am going to try this, I have lower back pain quite often, I'll let you know, thanks.

  • @rhondasroom Please do, but I sure hope it works as well for you as it does for me! XO Carolyn

  • i still have some lower back pain but not as bad as it was, come to find out I dislocated my hip and slip a disk in my back

  • @billygirl8288 Ouch! I sure hope you feel better soon! XO Carolyn

  • I'd do you

  • Ok i have been dealing with lower back problems for a while now and nothing has worked until I tried it. OMG it worked wonderfully. Thank you so much.

  • @billygirl8288 how long did it take to heel

  • Don't have any back pain, I just like looking at her videos for obvious reasons. :) But it's great information too. :)

  • ok.... i'm going to try..Will keep you posted.

    ps... love your accent.

  • @zoot3zz Please do! Hope it helps! XO Carolyn

  • you look like jennifer anniston im not sure if i spelled her name right but you do nice video im gonna try it tonight

  • @gowmarcos763 Hope it helps you! I've never heard that I looked like JA but have been told that I look similar to Cher or Celine. Its cause of the long face I suppose? XO

  • Thank you so so much for this wonderful trick! I'm 25 and I have chronic lower back pain bc of a large bust. I finally feel relief after a quick 20 minutes. Thank you again! :)

  • @mlokrongly09 That's fantastic news! So glad this technique helped you! XO Carolyn

  • but she doesnt look great?

  • @notaditdot... All jokes aside and with the upmost respect...u are one sexy woman... Thanks for the video

  • can you put a little blanket under it all to make the ground soft? ^.^

  • @embrace123ful Sure you can! XO

  • thats one hell of website name

  • @ollie0070 Yeah, I didn't really think it through well when I was considering a domain name. Oh well. Its still a great site!

  • Omg thank you so much thay was really helpful , i have like a much curved lower back than you have so i used a bigger towel do you think this is ok. . I felt relief right away. . But the thing is i need to bend my knees otherwise it is gonna hurt. . I dont know why , i think it causes too much pressure on my lower back , is it ok to bend them or maybe use like a small chair under my feet or somthing. And plz tell me if you have any other methods for lower back pain, thank you so much

  • @ho444444ney I think it would be OK to do this at first with your knees bent but after a while, you really need to be able to lay flat for the best results. Too large a towel might end up hurting your back instead of helping. I do have other methods and will begin re-posting videos asap. XO

  • Why does it hurt when I do it=C

  • @MsFailnub Try using a smaller towel or not rolling up the towel you were using all the way. If it hurts, you need to make the curve to your lower back smaller, then build up (using a slightly larger towel) to add more curvature. Make sense? Never do anything that causes pain though. You were so right to ask! XO Carolyn

  • stealing towels from hotels, BRILLIANT! thank you so much.

  • Wow. These really really works. I have got to much relief than any anti pain. Thank you very much!!

  • @tknz01 You are so very welcome! So glad it helped you! XO

  • This really works! Thank you so much!

  • @h1ydrippa It really helps me out too! I have a few more methods I want to share but am so busy at the present time.... but I will be back soon and give those tips to you. XO Carolyn

  • i love her voice lol

  • u look great!!

  • i bet 10$ she is/was a hippy

  • @IDeafpool I was raised in the 60's. What did you expect? lol Have a blessed day! I would take that bet but I don't like betting against myself. lol

  • @notaditdot every hippy chick has that hairstyle.

  • @IDeafpool Deductive reasoning. I like it! XO

  • @notaditdot 4 seasons of House MD does wonders :P

  • @IDeafpool lol its true she does look like one :D

  • Your hot!

  • this technique works!! i had this back pain for weeks until i was sick of relaying on stretching. did this technique once a day 20mins and this is my 3rd day and my back pain(lower) is gone! now its just a little comfortableness! thank you very much!

  • @cohort85 Thanks for letting us know it helped you so much! If you do this regularly, you may possibly eliminate all lower back pain for good. Half the back pain we feel is from poor posture. This technique helps correct that. XO

  • ha ha ha i liked that these towels i might have taken them from a hotel funny stuff lol

  • thank you Very much once I tried this twice a day for two days. My pain was completely gone! once again, Thanks!

  • @B7571 So very great to hear! Thanks for letting us know! XO

  • hope fully it works cz my lower back kilin me

  • Thank you very much for this video. Recently, my close friend had been having this awful back pains, but wasn't looking to see a doctor nor chiropractor. This video was exactly what he needed. The pain is completely gone, and he states how a nice 20 minute rest really helps relax the entire body. I can't thank you enough for this video! Keep up the great work :)!

  • @pyrotech771 You are so welcome! I am so glad it helped your friend! XO Carolyn

  • @CookieMHelloK I can post a video if you want .. lemme know .. I really think that at the age of 11 your only goal should be to get rid of that back pain so that you can do everything you want and everything that your friends do .. good luck chap !

  • @CookieMHelloK .. Hope you completely treat your back .. I used to have a constant back pain till I treated it sufficiently with these exercises I am gonna mention .. 1. do back arching with the support of a wall back and forward bending holding in each position for few seconds .. 2. raise hands completely streched and bend sideways on either side . hold on each side for few seconds .. 3. Lie sideways and lift your leg up and down about 15 times like a scissor, then the other side .good luck

  • Thank you for this video. I was at my doctor and I strained my back due to over house work. I'm doing some excersize but I want to do more for back strengthening and healing. I'm going to put your video on my favorites. I'm going to try your technique. Thank you very much. I hope this will work for me. I will keep you posted.

  • @Lismetdetu Please do! Never do too much housework! lol Hope this helps you! XO Carolyn

  • @CookieMHelloK Gosh, sorry to hear about the painful treatments. I went to a chiropractor for years before I became a massage therapist. A massage would also help you a lot! Please go slowly. Never move into pain. If something's painful to move, then don't move it. Always move away from pain. Take antiinflammatories to help reduce the pain. (Advil or Aleve) Most of all, take care of yourself and good luck in gymnastics! XO Carolyn

  • @notaditdot You're a very sexy lady and I adore your accent.

  • When are people going to learn proper grammar........... it is LIE down........NOT lay down.a person lies down ........... a table is Laid. simply....... Remember, you tell your dog to LIE down,, but you LAY your dog on his bed......you may lie down on your bed, but the covers are layed on the bed....

  • @piznair3000 This video is about relieving back pain so grammar wasn't my first concern here. But thanks for the grammar lesson.

  • @piznair3000 This just in: using ellipsis in excess while correcting someone on grammar is so ironic English teachers around the world are having strokes.

  • im 14 and have scoliosis and this really has heped my back pain. i went to physical thearapy because i have so much pain and it relieved some but this releaved so much more! thank you soo much!

  • @Kaity228 God bless you and your back! I am not a big fan of physical therapy (nor chiropractics) because it only treats one part of your body... but your body is connected to other parts of your body that are affected. That's why I chose to be a massage therapy and not a physical therapy. I am really glad this helps you! XO Carolyn

  • I must agree with these guys. You are a very attractive woman.

  • @notaditdot ure a beautyful lady

  • @70sROmeO Ah, shucks! XO

  • Great technique. My back feels some relief finally.

  • @trojanguy85 That's so great! Thanks for letting us know this helped you! XO Carolyn

  • I love those legs I would honestly lick u from head to toe

  • Ur so beautiful

  • Would love to get together for some back rubs

  • Nothing like admitting right up front that she "accidentally" took towels from a motel. Sure gives her a lot of credence to what she's telling us.

  • @Suenell Well, I wasn't sure if it was a towel from a hotel but it sure looks like one... lol It could be a towel someone left at my house too... (swimming pool stuff) I learned this technique from a chiropractor friend who is 100 times smarter than me. He really knows his stuff! I am just a disciple:o) XO Carolyn

  • @Suenell Hello Mr. High'n'Mighty! Want a cookie?

  • @audayhussain2 I am so sorry. I don't know any exercises for a bum knee... XO

  • at night while i'm sleeping i often have lumbar aches and i put a little pillow instead of a towel under me in the same place as in the video..very very relieving

  • @rastafic Just make sure the pillow doesn't give too much 'lift'. (even though you say its small) If you're not careful, you could end up causing pain instead. XO Carolyn

  • ^^,

  • This is the easiest and most efficient back technique relief I have ever found. Thank you for taking the time to do this video. Much appreciated.

  • @SunWarmed I think so too! So glad it helped you! XO Carolyn

  • @vibit7 You're so welcome! Hope it helps!

  • sorry lady..but its bulshit

  • @ivan38650 Well, that is your opinion and you are entitled to it. Thanks for sharing it though. There's just not enough negativity in this world without people like you! Have a nice day!

  • Very good technique.

  • @BackInsight I sure have used it my fair share over the years. Thank God for my good friend Curtis, who was nice enough to show me the technique! Blessings!

  • Thanks for sharing....will try this out.

  • i saw this video last night and i did the toeewl for 20 minutes and it worked. i was walking around for like a week slumped over. i am so glad i ran across this video. can i do it more than once a day?

  • @SuperBooboocakes Wow, that's great! Yes, absolutely. Just go into it gradually. You don't want to reverse the good results you've already seen. XO Carolyn

  • very educative and you look expectacular

  • @TheRON36 Glad you found this useful! Thanks!

  • you are sexyyyy

  • Thanks! I will follow your recommendation .

  • I'm working with UPS and obviously a rough season for us, I entered the season with an Ache in my mid spine and I was curious if this would be helpful or if I should attempt a different stretch for that point of my back. I mean, it's really irritating and I don't have enough time to stop and see a Massage therapist or a Chiropractor So I kind of need to manage until January before I can do anything with assistance

  • @phantomkitsunezero I'm afraid this technique is specifically tailored for the lower spine and neck. One of the best things you can do right now is to take ibuprofen or naproxen for inflammation regularly, ice the area when you can (put the ice pack on top of your spine, not under it), and wear a back brace for support of the area. (the velcro kind) This will help you tremendously. XO Carolyn

  • thank you :)

  • @LovelyAndWarm I had to respond cause I love your user name. Gives me warm fuzzies:o) XO Carolyn

  • Very nice job... TrainerKendotcom

  • Thanks for the Tip! I suffer a Debets back pain since days and painkillers Sems Not help. I will try it ,Hope it Works :)

  • @BecaJohns1 Just take baby steps. If you've got a debilitating problem, it will take time. Go slowly so you don't overdo, K? Best of luck with this! XO Carolyn

  • "accidentally took out of a hotel"......LOL

  • @Discernaoftruth Yeah I snickered at that too. I've had quite a few "accidents" myself.

    Great info Carolyn thank you!

  • HELP! if I bend down forward while standing, I feel like my back is cracking (in the middle). I don't hear the noise outside but I can feel it in my back. it started with left lower back but now I have it both sides. Some ppl say its cuz of gas in my body. I had diarrhea like 5 weeks ago and I got really weak, lol and then I tried a backflip, i think thats when I hurt my self. Its not goin, its so frustrating! I can't even run in school and I'm only 15.

  • @yoosuf29 You need to be seen by a doctor sweetheart. Diarrhea is a sign of something amiss in your back. Back flips don't help back pain... you are right! Take ibuprofen for the pain and ICE the area. 15 minutes on. 15 minutes off. 15 minutes on. 15 minutes off. (etc.) Best of luck!

  • Oh my god Thank you so much. I hurt my lower back two days before an important martial arts test. I thought Id have to cancel but it looks like I can take the test now. Thanks so much. Ill definitely check out the website.

  • @SaintMilamber That's so fantastic! So glad you were able to perform for the test! XO Carolyn

  • Great TIPS!

  • if they sold it at $40 and had twice the sales that's the equivalant to selling it at $80 for them...

  • Carolyn, I just wanted to let you know that this took the pain out of my back. I am initially am only able to do it for 10 minutes but I'll build up. Thanks for the good work you are doing. I've been in pain for a month and this worked!

  • @windridr66 Thanks sweetie. Sorry for not responding sooner but sometimes messages go into my spam box. I am so glad this worked for you. I really need to do this again myself. My mattress is getting older now and I need to replace it soon... so its not giving me the support my body requires. So glad for you! XO Carolyn

  • i suffer from a trapped nerve in l/back pysiotherapist says i have bad posture and tight hamstrings ive started the towle method id like to ask it seems to be quite painfull while im lying there with spasams in my lower back is this normal at first and will the pain reduce as i do the method more oftern thanx 4 help

  • @ade3131 Yes, I should think so. Your back isn't used to being in the 'correct position' and the pain should subside the more you do it. If it doesn't, then stop using this method and consult your doctor. Best of luck that it does help! XO Carolyn

  • @ade3131 I can't see that she is an expert in any way. This technique is only viable for people presenting things like a flat back however your problem sounds completely different! You need to see an expert such as chiropractor/ osteopath. If you're in pain STOP. Don't listen to a woman that's giving advice on a bedroom floor!

    :)

  • Omg! My back was hurting so bad I felt like my spine needed to be streched or something, I tries this and I kid you not, istant relief!!!!! THANK YOU!!!

  • @stylst0123 It does feel great, doesn't it! We could all use a little spine aligning! XO Carolyn

  • hahah, "accidentally took out of a hotel"...

  • hi how u doing Carolyn i just saw your videos and let me tell me that they are very instructive keep doing what you doing thanks for your tips about the back pain relief are really helpfull , dont worry about the people telling you that you talk to much i think that you have to do it in order of the people can understand the exercise , the more you explain the better i understand the exercise thanks again

  • @LIVESTAKERc Thanks for your support sweetheart. I couldn't have said it any better! XO Carolyn

  • omg im doing it now my back feels so good!!

I'm going to sleep on the ground like this haha

  • Hey Carolyn, I was thinking that if I took one of those "noodles" for the swimming pool and cut it in half it may be very close to using two towels! just thought I'd throw in my 2 cents worth.. Thanks for the video, I suffer from lower back pain and am trying to not use pain killers anymore for obvious reasons..

  • @FLTroy Ha sweetheart. Sorry for the slow response. I have been in the hospital and had a very tough week and still am. No, a swimming pool noodle just doesn't have enough 'give to it'. You need something that will cushion your back that gives a bit. XO Carolyn

  • I just tried this and I feel its made my back really stiff and worse, Is that supposed to happen ?

  • @mymumhitsme1 No sweetheart. Perhaps your towel was too thick? If you make your towel too thick, it will be very uncomfortable. Try and lessen the thickness of your towel at first, and then build up to more thickness. Also, make sure your towel is in the right place. It should line up, at or just above. your hip bones. Hope this helps!

  • @mymumhitsme1

ok thanks I'll give that a go

  • good video the only thing i would say is less time talking in the begining cause u lose intrest quick

  • @kaysmamma If you lose interest quick, then turn it off sweetheart. I am a southerner and talk a lot. If you don't like my talking and explaining things, then I guess you don't really want to understand the human body? I don't understand? This video is one of my shortest, so please don't watch longer ones. Have a great day! Carolyn

  • is there a reason you set a timer for 20 mins? would it be bad if you went over the 20 mins? or is that just the minimum you need to do to start feeling results?

  • @crookedfingaz 20 minutes is the minimal amount of time you'll need to help your back. Less than that, and the effects won't be nearly as good. You can lay this way as long as you think. I slept with a towel under my back for a while, when I had more back problems than I do now. Turns out that this technique really saved me. I haven't had back problems in years. (knock on wood!) lol Great questions though! Thanks! XO Carolyn

  • @crookedfingaz Woops... 'as long as you want', not think. lol

  • I am going to try this. My lower back is bothering me from hiernated disc. You look great. I will let you know if it works

  • @mrfrankc Any help so far?

  • I had some back pains ever since like 2-3 weeks ago, and today I finally had the time to do this technique, and man, my back feels so much better! Thanks for the upload!!!

  • @ChaddMM Glad it helped you! Be sure to do this every so often to help stretch your spine. You can also sleep with a towel under your back and neck if you need to. XO Carolyn

  • ..."These are probably towels that I accidentally took out of a motel or something.." LOL - too funny! Thanks for the post though, this helped a lot! I have been living off of icy/hot bandages, and heating pads the last few days. I am suffering acute back pain like I didn't know possible - I'm 26 and in very good shape, but I torqued my back pretty good, and haven't been able to get back in good back health. So, thanks again!

  • @bmariewest Glad it helped you! XO Carolyn

  • Looks like an exercise I could do.. I wonder if it works, too :P

  • @sl2mmer Its worked great for me for years, so yes it does work. But why take my word for it. Read the comments below for more kudos in this technique:o)

  • Makes sense to me, gonna give it a try.

  • @rmzelf Please do, but don't make the towels too thick to begin with. You can build up to them but start off slowly for best results:o)

  • yeh it helps a lot use to do it!

  • @CONSTRINGACY Glad its helping you! Getting spinal fluid flowing again to the lower back is so important to relieving back pain. XO Carolyn

  • I have been having pain on the lower back which radiates onto the bum and then to the posterior thigh....quiet painful..what can i do??

  • This sounds like you have trigger points that need releasing in your gluts. You have many of them there that can cause lower back pain, bum pain, and then radiate down your leg, possibly along your sciatic nerve. You can look up trigger points in your gluteals on google, then get someone to give you a butt massage. (Not joking here!) You won't believe how much it will help, if the TP are the cause! Carolyn

  • @notaditdot But Caroolyn...I'm just 15..!

  • Oh, that might make a difference but have you told your parents about the pain you're having? You should if you haven't. The above reference is all professional. Trigger point release is standard protocol for massage therapy, wherever there is pain, including the butt/gluteals. Many people have trigger points that need releasing. No sexual implications at all sweetheart. Carolyn

  • ur hot!

  • Wow Talk About A MILF...... AtLeast She Knows WHat She's Talking About....

  • milf indeed. wow. mmhm. :)

  • @61Galaxieboy nah, shes a GILF

  • Hello Carolyn. I have had lower back pain since august 2009. i started working out in april, and stopped in june. for 2 months i didnt work out at all since i was on a long holiday. all of a sudden one evening in august i felt tightness in my lower back. i never had any trauma or accidents, when i was working out i felt great and never put any pressure on my back. the pain has persisted till now..ive been working out since september, and the back pain remains.. any advices? pls help

  • It sounds like you might be in a spasm possibly. It could also be your sacroiliac joint. Have you tried a massage? Getting a massage can really help. Also, have you tried the towel method? How about your mattress. Any problems there? Repetitive motions are also infamous for creating back pain. What type of job do you have? (If any in this economy...) Carolyn

  • can spasms last that long? i dont think so..its been 6 months already, and the tightness graduately became pain, kinda like a dull pain, not sharp.. im a medical student so i guess my profession hasnt got anything to do with it. weird thing is the pain started after i stopped going to gym, roughly around 2 months later. i know almost all reasons that can cause lower back pains but nothin fits with my story.

  • the thing is i never once tried getting profesional advice or have anyone take a look at it. im trying the towel method today. can yoga help? feels more like ligament problem than muscle..the pain is right above the buttocks, as u said the sacroiliac joint, around L4-5.. ive been sleeping on the same mattress all my life

  • ive had the same problem, a massage works great. just have them work mainly on the lower back. it hurts a little at first, but it will feel alot better in the end. one bit of advice though, do it on a friday so you have the weekend to recover because i had trouble walking around for a couple days after.

  • thank you Carolyn! i tried the towel method and it helped!! there is still slight tightness (pain) but i felt instead relief! Thank you again! And ill get massages as well! :)

  • you look pretty good. a milf

  • I Love this woman

  • Hi Carolyn. My back pain started in 2000 of my senior year. Then in January of 2007 I had an almost head-on accident at 35 mph. My car was total. My left knee was busted against the steering column and this is the worst one, I didn't seek medical help at all since I can't afford it. I towed a crashed car home and went home to bed. Your video had help me too. It is good to hear from your ideas. My knee is okay, but there's pain sometime! By the way you do have a nice body.

  • I am so sorry to hear about your accident and the problems you're having sweetheart. It breaks my heart. I got into a similar accident when I was younger but also injured my shoulder. I was lucky there wasn't any lasting damage. Just give it time and hopefully you will be on the mends soon. I drank a lot of milk to help mend my bones (calcium) so maybe that would help? The doctor told me I was his miracle patient cause I healed so quickly. Its worth a shot, anyway? XO Carolyn

  • Hi Carolyn. I have been drinking milk for the past month, but so far it still the same. I eat a lots of sweet stuff and lots of chocolate and candies and drank lots of soda. I think that is why I still the way I am.

  • Well, the milk is good for ya, but try and cut back on the sweets and soda baby. They taste good, but are bad for your health in excess. I too, love chocolate and candy but I allow myself one small piece everyday. (Preferably dark chocolate). I also allow myself to have one diet soda a day. The rest is water or hot tea. You can also counteract the effects of all the sugar in your body by consuming more raw veggies. Salads are great! Keep drinking milk and hopefully, things will get better! XO

  • I will do that. Thank you for the advices.

  • You're welcome. I am wondering if you did any damage to the meniscus in your knee. (A cushion that sits inbetween the knee bones.) I would also try some light strength training to build the muscles back up. Never do anything that causes pain though. Start out light and work up to more strenuous workouts. Let me know how you're doing if you like:o)

  • Fantastic vid.. I will try this tonight and hopefully I will be on the mend,,You look great Carolyn,,Big thanx x

  • Sorry I missed your comment babe. Hope this helps you. It might take a week or two (or more) before you feel the benefits. Sure beats the heck out of buying one of those back gismo's they sell online! lol

    XO Carolyn

  • accidentally took those two towels out of a hotel. haha xD

  • It was an accident ;o) lol

    XO Carolyn

  • I just recently was in a car accident in which i sustained lower back and neck trama. I tried your technique for the first time tonight it was very uncomfortable but after i did feel some relief. If this helps me i am your biggest fan, thanks for your insight.

  • I am so sorry about your accident sweetie. I have been in a few of them in my life, and know the trauma they can cause afterward. Don't do anything that causes you more pain. If the towels you are using are too thick and cause pain, try a thinner towel. You can also sleep with the towels on your bed. Hope you feel better very soon. XO Carolyn

  • Thanks Carolyn, you have the most gorgeous accent and you look very fit. The exercises are obviously working for you :-)

  • Well, that's a first. (gorgeous accent) lol You are very generous. re: 'very fit' - I just never got into eating excesses of food but instead always viewed food as nourishment for my body. I wouldn't say that I'm in great shape, I just eat right most of the time, which really helps.

The towel technique and changing my mattress really helped end my back pain. I rarely get back pain anymore. Take care and hope you feel better soon and heal quickly! XO Carolyn

  • This will not work for people who have had lower back surgery and are still in chronic pain.
