  • I agree. This is a great album! The ghost in you still haunts me.

  • Thanks a lot for sharing one of the most "moving" tracks modern music has ever seen. Thanks a lot!

  • 1992, sitting on my balcony in S. France singing along with my headphones on, unaware that people were stopping and listening. Continuing anyway. I love this song.

  • Even better than "Kiss them for me ".

  • "I seem to know the ghost in you...." - chills me to this very day.

  • There's always at least one brilliant song on each of their albums!

  • I love this song so much - it ios beautiful and holds so many memories

  • This is the first time I've heard this song (yes I have been living in a cave) I thought it was another cover of the Psych furs song.

How Happy I Am That I Was Wrong

@incadove- I saw Grace Slick and Jefferson Airplane Live way back in ancient times (1967) Young and live they were incredible, I think if Siouxsie would cover any of their work it would have to be Eskimo Blue Day, I think she would have brought something new to it.

  • @artistray621 The Psychadelic Furs song ghost in you is quite deep as well.

  • Wondering who the heartless, souless, dead soul who clicked dislike is?

  • So much has happened in this past 20 or so years....one constant, Siouxsie

  • @micheleengful So much has not happened to your fat ass in the last 20 years, the cottage cheese remains.

  • @MrFootfree02 Well, you're a rude one, aren't you?

  • I adore this song..Was in 9th grade when this came out and i discovered the music..

  • a masterpiece simply

  • i think that people who diss supersition and the rapture as the worst siouxsie & the banshees albums should get their ears and hearts checked. pure bliss !

  • the problem with this song is that it doesn't go on forever

  • I love Siouxsie, and I know a few of her songs, but I'm looking up as much more as I can...And each time I'm blown away! She's my second/female Robert Smith. :)

  • @WWEFalcon I saw Siouxsie live and Robert Smith was their guitarist for that tour.

  • @MultiKanut Yeah I know he started out with her, and sounds like he got a lot of inspiration from her. I just wish I could've seen a concert like you did. :(

  • @WWEFalcon It wasn't when she first started out it was during the Tinderbox period (1986) and Smith played in both their band and The Cure for a bit.

  • @MultiKanut Oh. I wasn't aware of that. I just figured since the Cure started in the late 70s that he wouldve been with Siouxsie earlier. That's some interesting information. Thanks. :)

  • @MultiKanut---- What year was this?????

  • Almost impossible to believe that after all these years no one can b compare to this lady.....beyond perfection. Thanx u 4 provide us with ur so talented gifts. to connect with this u gotta b bless with an unusual kind of sensibility.

  • hope remains with the ghost in you

  • High School I think i was either a sophomore, THE ONLY PERSON THAT LISTEN TO SIOUXIE. what so cold that I went to all almost all white school but almost everyone listen to country and classic rock. Peek a boo what got me when I was 10 yrs old. Even though I didn't have Mtv in high school some how i stayed current with music.

  • one of the best songs ever made

  • hold the whirlwind, dont let it blow........

  • So nice!! Always has been still is a very moving song!. Glad I'm the person I was- & still am!!

    james groome

  • 16 years old, Norfolk pines, elipses, eclipses, fuck you universe, now I'm 33, my mother commited suicide, my dad has a terrible brain injury, I don't want justice, just want to scream at somebody important !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • pff i love this track!!

  • stunning, siouxie at her most beautiful, ''dare i tresspass to lift the veil '

  • I agree with you.. out of all the words you could have picked out of this song.. you picked the ones that stand out to me as well.

  • Superstition sounds too sterile, but some songs are good. I might say The Ghost in you is the best one.

  • "The whisper of your scream sighed through the air...."

    Brilliant.

  • Thank you - a beautiful song! And in reply to incadove - yes! I have often thought about the Grace Slick Siouxsie Sioux connection. Imagine Grace covering a hammered out version of "Spellbound"!

  • My favorite Siouxsie And The Banshees record although there are certainly great songs on all their albums but this one really does it for me. It's such gorgeous pop music. Off the subject I've always imagined what it might sound like if Siouxsie covered White Rabbit by Jefferson Airplane. One can dream I suppose.

  • @incadove So, I'm not the only one that thinks Siouxsie would have made the perfect cover of White Rabbit.

  • @incadove I wouldn't really call this pop. This goes so far beyond pop it's not even close.

  • @incadove I agree with you... As heretical as it may be, Superstition is my favorite Banshees album too. Downright gorgeous from start to end.

Although, Pity off of Boomerang (The Creatures) is the most beautiful track (from any artist) I can think of.

Of course, there is plenty of great Banshees (and Creatures) tracks, and "pretty" isn't the only gauge of goodness.

  • This song slays me. I know it is about Tiananmen but in my mind and history it goes beyond that moment. This album came out a year before my high school graduation (that I never attended cuz I was so punk) -- and I've carried the songs and sentiment with me almost 20 years later. (Frankly, the realization of that much time passing shocks me.) Hold the whirlwind indeed. Superstition is sadly underrated. Ghost in You is haunting and glorious...and kiss them for me...I may be delayed.

  • oh yeah you were so punk where were you in 1976? nowhere! you poseur!!

  • @Sugardeluxe Totally with you on all counts (although I did attend my graduation, but strutted with an aire that I was too cool to be there...But I digress...) This band is underrated!!! Takes you back!

  • @Sugardeluxe

So much mutual feelings (same scenarios) Xox you're not alone in this nostalgias ;)

  • @Sugardeluxe Outstanding synopsis, good for you brother. Hope you get everything you want out of life.

  • @Sugardeluxe i know how you feel. i graduated the year 'kiss them for me' was a hit... i just discovered this song on the cd i've had for years and it's so pretty! can't believe it's been 20 years either.

  • @Sugardeluxe This is about Tiananmen square?

  • I have such an emotional attachment to Superstition... This is probably my most favorite track of the album. <3

  • Agreed.

  • I second that emotion. Mr Galactic One, Inner-stellar Cyberspace USA.(Inner-stellar, not to be confused with Inter-stellar Cyberspace USA)

  • can u amagine a world without ghosts...? ...

  • Thanx for posting; great song.

  • lo que es esta y little sister son las mejores jaja ese disko lo kiero en original i esta re kanijo enkontrarlo jeje mi maestra lo tiene i me lo presto pero poes mmmta no es lo mismo algun dia lo konseguire

  • wow it's the 20 year anniversary of Tiananmen. I just had to hear this song today

  • a timeless classic

  • I will never forget Tiannammen. They live in me. I can still see them. I will never forget the hope of a real revolution, for a moment...it was there. Someday we will all be free.

  • cwhite1111 I will never forget the guy that stood in front of tank. It was such a simple show of protest, but displayed so much.

  • Ghost in You & Return are the best songs from the 90's period, I adore these songs!!!

  • I kinda agree - return is just beautiful and I love this

  • elegant.

  • I just bought this album and definitely, Superstition fascinates me. Not their best piece but awesome as always, when it comes to Siouxsie & the Banshees.

  • THANKYOU!

  • You are so right about: "The Banshees at their most beautiful". Love this song and the record.

  • one of my favourite songs I ever heard, all LP is just brilliant!!!

  • Muchas gracias por esto.

  • you are great for uploading this album

  • Fascinante!

  • Thank you so much!!! I have this on tape, but have no tape player, and now I can enjoy it again. Cheers to you PassionateFriend!!

  • Gran cancion !
