I saw a list of worst Christmas specials, and this was on it. To me this is quite good. It actually mentions Christ, it has that good Fat Albert message of working together. You want awful, watch Jingle all the way or something like that. This show is underrated. I like it.

When I was a kid, my parents made 3 VHS tapes loaded with Christmas/holiday specials recorded from television. This was on one of them, and I watched it ALL THE TIME!!! I haven't seen this since I was about 10 or so. I have the biggest smile on my face, right now. :-D I'm a whiteboy from rural MI, and this just made my day. Thanks for uploading!

Boy, does this bring back memories. I remember watching this back in the late 1970s. I was 8 years old in 1977, and this was part of the reason why I looked forward to the months of Oct-Dec (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas) every year. All those televised holiday themed specials like this one.
