@ngwoonlam Yes!! I could notice the paper didn't take in the water so easily, but i liked the result very much... thanks a lot for answering... I really appreciate it
@pintoraficionado Better in painting but not so good in talking. Else I will write books and sell 10 million copies so that I don't have to paint so hard.
@MuddyTonic . Yes. My friend does that. However, the drying time and working charater are very different. The brush marks and surface resistance are different too.
Very nice thoughtful video. great color mixing and making the "mistakes" work. Thanks for doing this because I know its not easy doing this with a camera over your shoulder. Going out to Utah this week to paint watercolor...this gets me charged up!
where in singapore can i go for your art?

is it okay if i dont put gesso on the canvas?
ImCuckoo4CocoPuffs 10 months ago
@ImCuckoo4CocoPuffs Certain canvas surface wetting is quite bad. So gesso help it quite a bit.

very inspirational... loved the color pallete; so much variety in it... thnx for posting... can I ask what type of paper are you using here??
ekutoru666 1 year ago
@ekutoru666 : The paper was gessoed. That type of surface doesn't take the paint easily. I need to put more pigment to work.

@nss72 : I normally use 6B. It's too visible after painted with colors. Some people like 2B.

A pleasure to see something of a professional level on You Tube.
I do architectural rendering and need to loosen up a bit, so this will help. Thank you.

Hi, Thanks for your comment.
Most people think watercolor is hard because they want to control it. Try to let it go a bit. It becomes a lot easier.
Watercolor is more about philososhy that skills, I think.
Have fun.
