Religion can help,soothe and it can encite HAte. Like in the rural south if a caucasian female yelled "Ive been raped by a colored man.Then this man is lynched.How can this same religion tell people to hate people because of their sexual identity? Wow, many people die because of their irresponcible behaviors. This is a prime example. These folks dont want to live by behaving safely or appropriately, they want to live dangerously and force the rest of us to spend time, money resources to keep them alive for their profanity. I call for those concerned that the gay lobby are using big business and corrupt politicians to force acceptance of their perverse and deadly lifestyle into every forum of our lives, ESPECIALLY into school curriculum, which is easily evidenced. I was a member of Act-Up SF from 1988-1990. Larry Kramer really describes well my generation of activists. Every word of his description, fits. We were not who came before, and I really do not think we are representative of who came after, although it would be nice if the bolder youth of today (gay and straight) practiced safer sex in larger numbers. Is that last comment too bold? We were pretty bold, us GenXers...
