  • Have you seen x-rays of mr????HAHAHAHAHAHA

  • HYSTERICAL!

  • Something's missing... but I don't get it.

  • I'm so glad Hollywood produces such classic humor. Bollywood is so uptight, fake, humorously naive and not just into dysfunctionality.

  • "...I love leprosy, I love cholera and I love all major skin diseases!" xDDD

  • You're immature--sexually, emotionally, and intellectually.

    Yeah, but what other ways?!

  • This is one of my all-time favorite scenes, when she makes him guess what's wrong with him.

  • "so you do love me?"

"no i dont love you, but its not that..."

  • Love the idea how he becomes the dictator of a banana state just to impress a girl. *g*

  • "you're immature... emotionally, sexually, and intellectually..

    "yea, but what other ways"

    hahahahahaha

  • "Do you have fun when you're with me?" ... "Noooo..." LOL

  • Thanks for the following: Runny eyes, LOL's, general hysteria!

  • I've had dating experiences like this!!

  • I love this so much. "Well, where could we get it to go?"

  • I love pygmies who have leprosy.

  • "Well I laugh a lot...sometimes you don't laugh."

    lol

  • Best break-up scene ever!

  • I had a feeling this might be on YouTube and I am so glad. This has got to be one of the best classic Woody Allen dysfunctional relationship dialogues. Nobody else has portrayl the maddening paradox of relationships as well as he has.

  • So clever and insightful. Clever: "What it is not" holds the piece together and allows for so many funny possibilities. Insightful: picks up on the surprisingly frequent situation where one partner has no idea that the other has fundamentally gone off the relationship.

  • Curiously I went to NYC last month and in Union Square, I heard a conversation almost identical to this one .... are all New Yorkers so mixed up that Woody was able to portray it so exquisitely it over 35 years ago .. ? I'm British and therefore see Americans more objecticely ... and so does Woody.

  • I see it more as a woman thing than a relationship thing, acctually. Notice, Woody tried to counter every move logically and stay on topic

  • They were married in real life. I bet there were some funny moments but I remember she had a "pot" problem and he was always uptight about drugs and alcohol.

  • if we both receive it may work...

  • I've always loved this scene. Perfect. Thanks for posting it.

  • Awesome

  • this guy is awesome !!

  • You can't change a womans mind, great ditty

  • I love Woody Allen and Louise Lasser

  • "I love leprosy..."

    Fantastic!!!

  • It's funny- she's Mary Hartman even when she isn't Mary Hartman
